Connect your own Square account, put a seat map on your website, and buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on Square's payment page. The money goes to the Square location you choose. SeatLayer charges a flat $0.50 per ticket, with no percentage.

Connect Square in three steps.
Everything comes from one app in your Square Developer Console.

Copy your access token
Open your app in the Square Developer Console, then Credentials. Use the Sandbox token for test events and the Production token for live ones.

Add the webhook
Under Webhooks, add a subscription with the URL SeatLayer shows you and the events payment.created, payment.updated, refund.created and refund.updated. Copy its signature key.

Paste the token, key and location
Add the Location ID that should take the money, pick the currency and choose Connect Square. Payments go to that location, in its currency.
What you pay on a $50 seated ticket.
SeatLayer charges $0.50 per confirmed ticket, seated or not, and nothing on the ticket price. Square charges its usual card fee for your account, the same as on any other Square sale.

Where the money goes, and how refunds work.
Buyers pay on Square's payment page and the money goes to your Square location. SeatLayer reads each payment back from Square before a sale confirms, and never holds the money. Refunds you make in Square come back to SeatLayer on their own.
