Cookie Policy
LAST UPDATED · 29 SEPTEMBER 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SeatLayer uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser storage, on seatlayer.io and our dashboard.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Browser storage works in a similar way. They let a site remember information such as your sign-in or your preferences.
2. Cookies we use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__Host-sm_session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in | 30 days |
sl_privacy | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choice | 6 months |
| Browser storage | Preferences | Remembers display settings you choose | Until cleared |
| Support chat | Functional | Set only when you open the support chat | Set by the chat provider |
ph_…_posthog | Analytics (with consent) | Measures site and product usage | Up to 1 year |
sl_gclid | Analytics (with consent) | Measures the performance of our ads | 90 days |
Analytics cookies are used only if you choose “Allow analytics”. Rejecting them does not affect the service.
3. Managing your choices
You can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the service from working.
4. Organizer websites and hosted pages
The SeatLayer seat map that organizers embed on their websites does not set cookies. It uses browser storage only to keep your selection during checkout. The organizer's website may use its own cookies, covered by its own policy. Ticket and check-in pages hosted by SeatLayer do not use analytics cookies. Our documentation site does not set cookies.
5. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
