Pay when a seat sells. Keep the rest free.

One confirmed sold seat uses one prepaid credit. Designing, browsing, holds, releases, house blocks, and unsold inventory do not. Buy credits when needed and keep every unused purchased credit until it is used.

No monthly subscription required. Every account gets 100 free credits each month; when they are used, buy a credit pack. Purchased credits do not expire.

Method: choose the lowest-cost published pack combination that covers the entered confirmed sold seats. Assumes a zero purchased-credit starting balance; taxes and enterprise terms are excluded. The 100 free credits every account gets each month come off first, so up to 100 sold seats a month cost $0.

Static example: 5,000 confirmed sold seats in a month, less 100 free credits, need one 5,000-credit pack for $400 — 8.0¢ per sold seat with 100 credits left over. If sales are lower than the purchased balance, unused credits remain available until used.

Six packs, one meter. The rate falls to a 5¢ floor.

Each pack funds confirmed sold seats; from 50,000 credits the unit price holds at 5¢, and every purchased credit remains available until used. USD · REVIEWED 30 JUL 2026

Existing balance first. The estimator shows a minimum new purchase from a zero paid-credit balance. Your real top-up can be lower when purchased credits remain.

Enterprise agreements. Account, enterprise, and add-on entitlements can differ. A large on-sale usually needs more than a credit pack. A service-level agreement, a named escalation path, invoicing and procurement terms, and inventory split across promoters, presales, sponsors and box office through sales channels are all negotiated rather than published, because the right numbers depend on your on-sale profile. Bring yours and we will put terms against it.

0 SOLD-SEAT CREDITS

Before confirmation

  • Design and publish venue charts
  • Render and browse the buyer Map
  • Select seats and create temporary holds
  • Release holds or manage house blocks
  • Move seats in authorized box-office work
  • Open the optional 3D view
1 CREDIT PER SEAT

At the first confirmed sale

When your trusted backend confirms a booking, each newly sold seat uses one credit for that event. An authorized counter sale follows the same rule. Optional 3D uses the same published chart, loads only when opened, and does not consume another sold-seat credit.

The commercial details people need before testing.

When exactly is a sold-seat credit used?
One credit is used the first time a seat is confirmed sold for an event. Rendering or browsing the map, selecting, holding, releasing, blocking, or moving a seat does not consume a sold-seat credit.
Do purchased credits expire?
No. Credits you purchase do not expire and remain in the workspace balance until used. If no seats sell, no sold-seat credits are consumed.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Test mode is free with no time limit and no card: sandbox events, holds, conflicts, realtime updates and webhooks behave like production, and bookings consume no credits. Switch to a live key when you are ready to sell.
Is Copilot or other AI work billed by credits?
No. Copilot Ask is a controlled-release beta and is not priced inside the sold-seat credit model today. Before any AI work becomes billable, SeatLayer will show the applicable entitlement and spend boundary before a run starts.
Is a monthly subscription required?
No monthly subscription is required for standard pay-as-you-go sold-seat credits. Buy a published pack when needed, or contact SeatLayer for platform volume, enterprise terms, and entitlement requirements.
