Can a venue reuse one seating chart for multiple events?
Yes. Draw the room once and use it for every event. Each event keeps its own seats, sales and holds.
Does SeatLayer replace our ticketing or venue-management system?
It does not have to. With the SDK, your system keeps checkout, payments, tickets, refunds and customer records, and SeatLayer runs the seats. Or sell with SeatLayer: checkout on your website, your own payment gateway, QR tickets, the box office and door check-in, at $0.50 per ticket.
Is 3D required for a venue?
No. The 2D map is always there. Rooms with balconies or a bowl can add an optional 3D view from the same chart; flat rooms stay clear in 2D.
Can online and box-office seating use the same inventory?
Yes. Online buyers and box office staff sell from the same live seats, so a seat sold at the counter disappears online straight away.
What is venue seating software?
It is the system a venue uses to draw its rooms once and then sell seated events from them: the seat map buyers pick from, live availability, the box office and door check-in.
