The whole connection is one key. 1. **Create a restricted key** Give it four permissions: Checkout Sessions write, Refunds write, Webhook Endpoints write, and Basic Business Contact Information read. 2. **Paste it and connect** Paste the key and choose Connect Stripe. SeatLayer checks each permission against Stripe and shows Granted or Missing for each one. 3. **Assign it and sell** Choose the Stripe connection for the event. SeatLayer creates the payment webhook on your account, so sales and refunds report back on their own. ## What you pay on a $50 seated ticket. Buyers pay on Stripe Checkout and the money stays in your Stripe account, paid out on Stripe's schedule. SeatLayer never holds it. Refund a whole order or part of it from SeatLayer, or refund in your Stripe dashboard: a full refund puts the seats back on sale and a partial refund leaves them sold. 1. Picks seats on your site and pays on Stripe's page. 2. The ticket money lands here and pays out on Stripe's schedule. 3. Records the order and emails QR and PDF tickets. Charges $0.50 per ticket. 4.
