Everything comes from one app in your Square Developer Console. 1. **Copy your access token** Open your app in the Square Developer Console, then Credentials. Use the Sandbox token for test events and the Production token for live ones. 2. **Add the webhook** Under Webhooks, add a subscription with the URL SeatLayer shows you and the events payment.created, payment.updated, refund.created and refund.updated. Copy its signature key. 3. **Paste the token, key and location** Add the Location ID that should take the money, pick the currency and choose Connect Square. Payments go to that location, in its currency. ## What you pay on a $50 seated ticket. SeatLayer charges $0.50 per confirmed ticket, seated or not, and nothing on the ticket price. SeatLayer reads each payment back from Square before a sale confirms, and never holds the money. Refunds you make in Square come back to SeatLayer on their own. 1. Picks seats on your site and pays on Square's page. 2. The ticket money lands here and pays out on Square's schedule. 3. Records the order and emails QR and PDF tickets. Charges $0.50 per ticket. 4. Refund in SeatLayer or in Square. Square refunds sync back. ## Every Square sale comes with the whole seated event. The gateway takes the payment. Yes. Use the Sandbox access token and a Sandbox webhook for test events.
