Two values from a PayPal app. SeatLayer sets up PayPal's payment notifications for you. 1. **Create an app** Use a Sandbox app for test events and a Live app for live events. Make sure your account accepts the currency your events are priced in. 2. **Paste the Client ID and Secret** Choose Connect PayPal. The secret is encrypted when you save it and can never be read back. 3. **Assign it and sell** Choose the PayPal connection for the event. Buyers pay on PayPal's page and get their tickets by email. ## What you pay on a $50 seated ticket. SeatLayer charges $0.50 per confirmed ticket, seated or not, and nothing on the ticket price. SeatLayer never holds it. Refund a whole order or part of it from SeatLayer, or refund in PayPal: a full refund puts the seats back on sale and a partial refund leaves them sold. 1. Picks seats on your site and pays on PayPal's page. 2. The ticket money lands here and pays out on PayPal's schedule. 3. Records the order and emails QR and PDF tickets. Charges $0.50 per ticket. 4.
