Run every event end to end. Prices, partner seats, online sales, refunds, the box office counter and door scanning all work from the chart you drew. Run it from the dashboard, build it into your own product with the SDK, or have an AI agent such as Claude or ChatGPT draw the chart and set the prices. Every step below is in the product today. Build 1. **Draw the chart** Rows, curved rows, round and long tables, booths and standing areas. Trace over your floor plan from a PDF or image, or start from one of 58 templates. Or [describe the room to an AI](https://seatlayer.io/#describe) and SeatLayer draws it. 2. **Publish** Publish stays off until the checks pass. Events already on sale keep the version they started with. 3. Row A, seat 14 · $150 on the map Early release ends Fri 18:00 **Event and prices** Pick the chart, set the date and currency, and price by category, by ticket type or seat by seat. Schedule ticket releases ahead. Sell 1. Partner A Sponsor **Partners and channels** Give a partner its own seats and prices on the map, or import a seat list from CSV. Each partner gets its own report link. 2. **Friday · 7:30 PM** WordPress · Wix · Webflow · Squarespace · Shopify · HTML Online sales on · closes Fri 17:00 **Sell online** Share your event page on seatlayer.events, or paste one block into your own site. Buyers pay into your own account with Stripe, PayPal, Square or one of 11 more gateways. Close online sales yourself, or at a time you set. 3. Name, email, phone, order or seat Order 4H7K · 3 tickets $360 **Orders and refunds** Find any order by name, email, phone, order number or seat. Refund all of it or a few tickets, or cancel without a refund. On the day, and after 1. **GRAND HALL** 80 mm roll or A4 **Box office** Sell at the counter from the same live map. Take cash, your own card machine or a comp, and print on an 80 mm roll or A4. 2. Admitted Row F · 12 Works offline **Door scanning** Scan tickets with the SeatLayer app for iPhone, or in a phone browser. The app keeps scanning when the signal drops, and each ticket gets in once. 3. **Ticket type** **Sold** **Scanned** **Total** **Reports** One Excel file with a sheet for each report, or each sheet as a CSV: ticket types, channels, seats, orders and the door list. Partners see their own sales at their report link. Selling a season? Packages, renewals and season reports use the same charts. ## Run it from the dashboard, your own product or an AI agent. The same chart and the same live seats, whichever way you work. ### The dashboard All nine steps, plus the SeatLayer app at the door. Tickets go out as QR and PDF by email. - Chart - Publish - Prices - Partners - Sell online - Refunds - Box office - Door app - Reports $0.50 per ticket · first 25 free · no subscription [Start free](https://app.seatlayer.io/) [Try a live sale](https://seatlayer.io/#hosted-seated-events) ### The SDK, in your product Put the designer, the seat picker and the Control Room inside your own product. Your checkout, orders and tickets stay yours. ``` $ npm install @seatlayer/js new SeatPicker ({event, publicKey, onCheckout: (_, __, h) => yourCheckout(h.holdId)}) ``` Web, iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter · servers: Node, Python, PHP, Java, Go, Ruby,.NET $0 to go live · 100 free sold seats a month · then 10¢ to 5¢ [Explore the SDK](https://seatlayer.io/developers/) ### An AI agent Connect the SeatLayer MCP. The agent draws and publishes the chart, sets prices down to single seats, creates the event and its channels, and reads orders, door counts and report totals. Works from a chat app, Claude Code (six ready SeatLayer skills), Codex or your own agent. Copilot is built into the Designer. It asks you first. Before it changes an event on sale, it shows the change in the chat and waits for your yes. Refunds need an admin. The agent can ask for one; an admin approves it in Orders. Box office, door scanning and payment setup stay in the dashboard and the app. [Connect an MCP client ↗](https://docs.seatlayer.io/agents/designer-mcp/) You pay only for confirmed seats; holds, house seats and unsold seats are free. [See pricing](https://seatlayer.io/pricing/) · Only need a layout? Try the [free seating chart maker](https://seatlayer.io/seating-chart-maker/). ## We build the seat map engine. Then we sell tickets on it. Many ticketing tools use a third-party seat map, and seat map SDKs sell no tickets. SeatLayer builds both, so one account covers your website, your box office and your own platform, and a seated ticket costs the same $0.50 as any other. - Start hosted, add the SDK later Sell on SeatLayer checkout today. Put the same seat picker in your own product later, on the same account and the same chart. - 3D on every chart Every chart opens in 3D, in checkout and in the SDK, with no conversion step. Buyers look from their seat before they pay. - Your own payment account Stripe, PayPal, Square and 11 more gateways. Buyers pay you directly. - Start from your floor plan Upload a plan image or PDF and click it. One click adds a block of printed seats, or a whole section with its seats. - An editor for real venues Curved rows, tiers, floors, tables and booths, checks before you publish, and Copilot edits you review first. ## One published chart. Every surface reads it. Author the venue once. The same revision becomes the interactive seat map, the 3D view, the live inventory your team watches, the block on your website and the ticket at the door. Nothing is drawn twice. Friday · 7:30 PM · Reserved seating One chart: 2,178 seats in 4 price categories, published as revision 3. ### Describe the room once. Describe it to Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude, or start from one of 58 templates. Finish it by hand and publish a reviewed revision that every later date reads. [Explore Venue Designer](https://seatlayer.io/venue-designer/) ### Buyers pick exact seats. Buyers see live availability and prices, ask for the best seats together, and the seats are held while they pay. [Read the SDK quickstart](https://seatlayer.io/developers/) ### See the view from any seat. Optional 3D uses the same published chart and selection state. It loads only when a buyer asks for it, so nothing heavy sits on the first frame, and the complete 2D map is always one tap away. Every seat has a [live 3D view from the seat](https://seatlayer.io/view-from-seat/); your own photos and panoramas show where you have them. 3D covers venues up to 60,000 seats. [Explore the 3D seat map](https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/) ### One live inventory per event. Every event sells on its own, so a sell-out on one date never slows another. Control Room, Box Office and partner sales channels read the identical seat state. [See how it fits your platform](https://seatlayer.io/ticketing-platforms/) ### Or sell it on your own website. Paste one block into WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or any HTML site. Buyers pick seats and pay through your own payment gateway without leaving your page. No code, no checkout to build. [Sell on your existing website](https://seatlayer.io/sell-tickets-on-your-website/) ### Every seat is a ticket, online or at the counter. Hosted Ticketing issues a per-seat QR ticket with PDF and email. Your box office sells from the same map and prints on an 80 mm roll or A4; the door scans the same inventory. On the SDK path, your own ticket delivery takes over. [Box Office and check-in](https://seatlayer.io/box-office/) The panel above is an illustration, labelled in its title bar. The hero picker and the hosted showcase below are the released product. ## Benchmarked at 200,000 seats. Public test venues, measured on desktop on 15 September 2026. Every claim links to where it is measured or written down. _One chart, many events. SeatLayer never touches the buyer's payment. [Security details](https://seatlayer.io/security/). No chart skills needed ## Describe your room. SeatLayer draws the seating chart. You don’t have to learn a seating chart tool. Say what the room looks like in plain words. SeatLayer checks every row, tells your AI what to fix, and builds a chart you can edit, price and sell from. 1. 01 Describe it to Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP client. 2. 02 SeatLayer checks it and names every problem by field. 3. 03 You get a real chart: rows, seats and prices you can change by hand or in words. Still have a question? or email [hello@seatlayer.io](mailto:hello@seatlayer.io). ### Can I run a whole event on SeatLayer? Yes. Draw the chart, publish it, set prices, give seats to partners, sell online and at the box office, refund orders, scan tickets at the door with the iPhone app or a phone browser, and download the reports. All of it is in the dashboard. Platforms can put the same pieces in their own product with the SDK. ### How is SeatLayer different from seats.io and ticketing platforms? SeatLayer builds its own seat map engine and sells tickets on it. Seat map SDKs such as seats.io have no ticketing or payments, and many ticketing tools use a third-party seat map. With SeatLayer one account covers checkout on your website with your own payment gateway, the box office, door check-in, and the SDK for your own product. ### Can I start with hosted ticketing and move to the SDK later? Yes. Keep the same account and the same chart. Sell on SeatLayer checkout first, then create new events under the SDK and embed the seat picker in your own product with your own checkout. Each event uses one of the two, so a live sale never changes hands halfway. ### Is SeatLayer for small events? Yes. The same engine renders a 300-seat studio theatre and a 200,000-seat stadium fixture; a small room is simply the easy case. Hosted Ticketing is self-serve from the first event, and Platform/SDK organizations get 100 free confirmed sold seats every month. ### Do I need to be a developer? No. You draw the chart, create the event, connect your payment account, then share your event page or paste one block into your website. The SDK is the developer path, for putting SeatLayer inside your own product. ### Where does the money go? The buyer pays through your own payment gateway, connected to your event. Your provider controls processing fees, applicable taxes and payout timing. SeatLayer bills its own Hosted Ticket charge separately; it is never part of the buyer's payment. ### What is the largest venue you support? There is no published ceiling. Public 100,000-, 150,000- and 200,000-seat venue fixtures were benchmarked on 15 September 2026, with 200,000 seats chart-ready in 1.95 s at 57.6 FPS zoom and 60.0 FPS pan on a desktop production build. Open the public 200,000-seat stadium demo to explore the same scale live. Fixtures, method and SHA-256 manifests: [github.com/seatlayer/seatlayer-performance.](https://github.com/seatlayer/seatlayer-performance) Renderer evidence is not a concurrent-buyer capacity claim. ### Does the embedded SDK replace my checkout? No. In an embedded integration, your application keeps buyer identity, checkout, payment, tax, refunds, order records, and ticket delivery. SeatLayer handles venue geometry, seat selection, holds, live inventory, booking, and signed webhooks. ### What is interactive seating chart software? [Interactive seating chart software](https://seatlayer.io/why-seatlayer/) lets a team design reusable venue geometry, embed current seat availability, create temporary holds, and confirm bookings through an API. SeatLayer builds that software itself and also sells tickets on it: hosted checkout on your own website, or the same seat map inside your product through the SDK. ### Does the 3D seat map replace the 2D map? No. The complete 2D map remains available. Optional 3D uses the same published chart and selection state, loads only after a visitor asks for it, and is offered when WebGL2 and the evaluated browser context support it. ### Is SeatLayer a ticketing marketplace? No. SeatLayer is not a marketplace and is not a general-admission-only ticketing tool. If you already sell through a platform, check what it covers before moving the seat map elsewhere. For example, read what [Eventbrite reserved seating already covers.](https://seatlayer.io/eventbrite-seating-chart/) ### How does SeatLayer pricing work? Start real production sales with $0 upfront: every Platform/SDK organization receives 100 free SDK sold-seat credits each month. After that, one credit is used for each newly confirmed sold seat; rendering, holds, releases, house blocks, and unsold inventory are free. The first paid pack is $50 for 500 credits (10¢ each), with no standard subscription or minimum commitment. Purchased credits do not expire, and the “Powered by SeatLayer” badge is removed automatically after your first credit pack at no extra charge. Hosted Ticketing is billed separately at $0.50 per confirmed Hosted Ticket. ### Can an AI assistant help a buyer find and select seats? Yes. Opt-in buyer WebMCP lets a compatible in-browser assistant inspect an event, find adjacent seats within a budget, select seats and read the selection. Optional holding uses the normal checkout handoff; there is no payment tool. The SeatLayer MCP separately authorizes agents to build charts and run events on one chart or a workspace, and the public knowledge MCP supplies read-only integration guidance. ## Put your next event on sale. Pure-GA events are not supported. **Tables, booths and GA capacity** - Accessibility and multiple floors: accessible seat types that become buyer-facing filters, wheelchair bays kept distinct from seats, and stalls, circles and balconies as one venue. **Accessibility and multiple floors** - Categories and validation: price zones painted onto the chart with per-seat overrides, and warnings raised while you work rather than after you publish. **Categories and validation** - Start from what exists: trace a plan page privately, or start from a template or an SVG/DXF drawing. **Start from what exists** _One chart: rows, sections and price zones, published as one revision._ [Open the Designer](https://seatlayer.io/venue-designer/) [Browse the templates](https://seatlayer.io/templates/) ## Buyers pick exact seats. The picker renders the published chart, prices it by ticket type, finds the best available group, and hands your checkout the exact seats plus a temporary hold. A seating event is handled by one server-side state authority: competing hold requests are ordered there, so one can succeed while a conflicting request receives a conflict response. - Ticket types: each seat priced by the category it belongs to. **Ticket types** - Best available: ask for four seats together and get them held together. **Best available** - Temporary holds: a timer the buyer can see, released automatically if checkout is abandoned. **Temporary holds** - Responsive, in 43 buyer languages: the same picker manages map, selection, cart, tiers and hold timer on a phone and on a laptop. **Responsive, in 43 buyer languages** - Optional 3D: a view from the seat, loaded only when a buyer asks for it. See the 3D seat map. **Optional 3D** ### Try it here. Nothing on this page is a mock-up. Load the released SDK against the fixed Grand Theatre v2 fixture; the complete 2D picker mounts first, and optional 3D appears only when this browser supports it. #### Try the released picker: 2D map, then 3D from the seat. Watch availability move in real time, block or release seats, sell at the counter and check people in at the door. Box Office, Control Room, blocks, releases, and door activity share event inventory. See how theatres use it in [theatre and performing arts ticketing](https://seatlayer.io/performing-arts/). - Live board Open, held, sold and blocked seats for authorised operators, without handing over admin authority. **Live board** - Blocks and releases Hold back house seats and put them back through guarded actions. **Blocks and releases** - Box office Serve the walk-up audience, record the external tender, and create the real order with per-seat tickets. **Box office** - Door Scan the ticket credential and keep check-in state separate from sale state. **Door** - Tickets and reporting Per-seat tickets with QR credentials, plus authorised performance totals and exports. **Tickets and reporting** _The event workspace: live board, availability tools and reports._ [See Box Office](https://seatlayer.io/box-office/) [See venue operations](https://seatlayer.io/venues/) ### Invite partners and run every sales channel from one dashboard. Big events rarely sell through one door. Set aside seats for sponsors, agencies, presales and the box office, invite each partner with their own login, and watch every channel sell from the same live seat map. It works whether you sell with SeatLayer or through your own checkout with the SDK. See it at scale on [stadium and arena seat maps](https://seatlayer.io/arenas-stadiums/). - Set aside exact seats Give sponsors, agencies or members their own block of seats. **Set aside exact seats** - Invite partners Each partner gets its own login and role, and sees only its seats. **Invite partners** - Prices per audience Member or agency prices only where they differ. **Prices per audience** - Private links Send a buyer link for a presale or a group. **Private links** - Move unsold seats live Release unsold partner seats to the public at a set date. **Move unsold seats live** - Report per channel Each partner sees its own sales; you see everything. **Report per channel** [How sales channels work →](https://seatlayer.io/sales-channels/) Public 48,000 seats Selling Travel partner 6,000 · invited Selling Sponsor 4,000 seats Report shared Box office 2,000 seats Selling ## Embed SeatLayer without replacing your checkout. Buyers pick and hold seats in the browser, your server confirms the booking, and signed webhooks tell you when seats change. On WordPress, use the [seating chart plugin](https://seatlayer.io/integrations/wordpress/). - Client SDKs: JavaScript and TypeScript, React, Vue 3, and Angular 17+. **Client SDKs** - Server SDKs: Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Go, Ruby and.NET. **Server SDKs** - Any other backend: every route stays available through REST and the OpenAPI reference. **Any other backend** - Signed webhooks: signed, retried, and every attempt can be replayed. **Signed webhooks** - Embedded Designer and control panel: put the Designer and the control panel inside your own admin, so organizers draw charts and track every seat in real time. Test for free with no time limit; secret keys stay on your server. **Embedded Designer and control panel** ``` $ npm install @seatlayer/js import {SeatPicker} from '@seatlayer/js'; const picker = new SeatPicker ({container: '#seat-picker', event: '', publicKey: '', onCheckout: (_, __, handoff) => yourCheckout(handoff.holdId),}); picker. render (); ``` _Public bootstrap, private session minting, and the origin-bound embed boundary._ [Read the integration guide](https://seatlayer.io/developers/) [Read the OpenAPI reference](https://docs.seatlayer.io/openapi.json) ## Ask the chart. Then tell it what to change. AI helps in four places. Every change it makes is a draft a person reviews and publishes. ### For the buyer's browser assistant If you turn it on, a buyer's AI assistant can find seats together within a budget and select them on the map. Payment always stays with the buyer. [Inspect the buyer tools ↗](https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/webmcp-agent-tools/) ### In the Designer Ask Copilot to change the open chart, or just ask questions about it. Every change is a draft you review. [See Copilot in the Designer →](https://seatlayer.io/venue-designer/#copilot) ### From Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client Build the whole venue, then set up events, prices and sales. Live changes wait for your yes. [Connect an MCP client ↗](https://docs.seatlayer.io/agents/designer-mcp/) ### For your coding agent The docs are published as plain Markdown, so the agent writing your integration reads what your team reads. [Choose the right agent path ↗](https://docs.seatlayer.io/agents/overview/) ## Or let SeatLayer run the seated event. SeatLayer runs the event page and checkout, takes payment through your own gateway, sends a ticket for every seat, and keeps the box office and live dashboard on the same seats. 14 gateways, paid to your account: Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack and iyzico. Reserved seating only: every event needs a seat map. Standing areas work inside that map. 1. Create a seated event in the dashboard. 2. Publish the seated event page. 3. Connect your payment account. 4. Sell exact seats and issue tickets. 5. Keep online and counter inventory together. Still have a question? or email [hello@seatlayer.io](mailto:hello@seatlayer.io). ### Does SeatLayer replace my checkout system? You choose. In an SDK integration, your application keeps buyer identity, checkout, payment, tax, refunds, orders, and ticket delivery. For hosted reserved-seating events, SeatLayer can provide the event page and checkout while payment runs through the organizer's own connected payment gateway. That provider controls processing fees, applicable taxes, and payout timing. SeatLayer bills Hosted Ticket charges separately. Hosted Ticketing is self-serve and supports Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack and iyzico. ### Does optional 3D replace the 2D seat map? No. The complete 2D Map remains available. Optional 3D uses the same published chart and selection state, loads only after a visitor asks for it, and is offered when WebGL2 and the evaluated browser context support it. ### How does SeatLayer handle two buyers asking for the same seat? Every seat request for an event goes through one server-side state authority, in order, so one buyer gets the seat and the conflicting request receives a conflict response. Nothing is ever sold twice. ### Can a buyer use an AI assistant to find seats? Yes, when an integrator opts in to buyer WebMCP in a compatible browser. The assistant can read the event, find candidates, select seats, and inspect the current selection. Placing a temporary hold is a separate optional permission. There is no checkout or payment tool. Buyer WebMCP is separate from the SeatLayer MCP for charts and events, and from the public knowledge MCP. ### Which integration paths does SeatLayer support? Transactional embedded buyer flows use the JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular, React Native, Flutter, iOS, or Android SDK. Native mobile SDKs currently support Event pickers, not Seasons. The Designer uses a short-lived, origin-scoped session inside an organizer CMS. Hosted reserved-seating event pages are a separate path for organisers who want SeatLayer to provide the buyer site and checkout. Hosted Ticketing is self-serve and supports Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack and iyzico. ### Which SDKs and languages are published? Web: JavaScript and TypeScript, React, Vue 3, and Angular 17+. Mobile Event pickers: React Native, Flutter, Swift on iOS, and Kotlin on Android. Server: Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Go, Ruby, and.NET. Any other backend can use the REST API and its OpenAPI reference directly. ### Where are Fixed Renewable Seasons supported? Fixed Renewable Seasons are released through browser SDKs, the REST API, and server SDK integrations. Organizer-dashboard rollout remains controlled by account, and native mobile SDKs do not support Seasons. ### How is Hosted Ticketing priced? $0.50 per confirmed ticket, and every new organization gets its first 25 tickets free. There is no subscription. Buyers pay into your own gateway: Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack or iyzico. ### Can an agent or MCP client work on my chart? Yes. Connect the SeatLayer MCP and approve it for one chart or a workspace. The client builds and edits charts, and with your permission runs events and reads reports. Live changes wait for your yes. The docs are also published as LLM-readable Markdown for the coding agent integrating the SDK. ### Can a venue reuse one chart for multiple events? Yes. A venue chart can be published as a reusable version, while each event adds its own pricing and seat inventory. That separates stable venue geometry from the open, held, sold, and blocked state of a particular event. ### Can I try it before paying? Yes. Test mode is free, with no time limit and no card. Platform/SDK organizations also receive 100 free credits each month. Hosted Ticketing is self-serve and supports Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack and iyzico. ## Start with the part you need. Open the demos and try the released picker, or read the quickstart to begin an integration. [Start free](https://app.seatlayer.io/) [See pricing](https://seatlayer.io/pricing/) Just need a chart? [The free seating chart maker](https://seatlayer.io/seating-chart-maker/) needs no account. # Sales channels and reserved-seat allocations Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/sales-channels/ SeatLayer Sales Channels divide one event's exact reserved-seat inventory among public, sponsor, partner, presale, group, and box-office audiences. They do not duplicate the chart or inventory. Each exact seat has one current channel assignment, while an authorized buyer session may expose more than one allowed channel. Released controls include sparse audience-specific price overrides, trusted-server-created buyer sessions, redeemable one-channel bearer links, versioned non-destructive allocation changes, frozen sales attribution, and Partner access for recurring external partners. A partner accepts by email with its own SeatLayer account, with no second login or separate portal, and opens the assigned channel as a role-scoped context in its workspace switcher. Viewer, Coordinator, and Partner manager roles use assignment-level permissions. A partner sees only the event and channel assigned to its organization. A channel id is a label, not authorization. Stale allocation versions fail without moving seats; held and booked seats are not moved. Hosted-access links require a Hosted Ticketing event. That path enters SeatLayer checkout and the SeatLayer Order, ticket, and Door lifecycle. In SDK mode, use a trusted-server-created buyer session: SeatLayer scopes inventory, holds, booking, and attribution, while the host platform owns checkout, payment, Orders, tickets, refunds, and fulfilment. Allocation answers where a seat is assigned now. Attribution freezes the channel that sold the seat at booking, so it remains accurate after later allocation changes. A shared partner report is restricted to one channel and excludes buyer identities, active holds, booking references, sibling channels, and event-wide totals. Current boundaries: exact reserved-seat allocations and organizer-approved partner distribution, free-inventory returns, requests, reports, and CSV exports are released. True partial-GA channel splits, first-class resale, partner-controlled pricing, arbitrary suballocations, commission settlement, and buyer identity in partner reports are not part of this capability. Fixed multi-performance selection is a separate Performance Groups product. Renewable 2–20-event Plans, incumbent Seat Rights, and renewal offers are separately released through Fixed Renewable Seasons: https://docs.seatlayer.io/server-api/seasons/ Organizers manage Seasons from the dashboard or through the web, API and server packages. Native SDKs do not expose Seasons, and Best Available is not supported for them. Implementation guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/sales-channels/ # AI seating chart generator for ticketed venues: describe the room, get a chart you can sell Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/ai-seating-chart/ Nobody has to learn the SeatLayer Designer to make a seating chart. There are three ways in: 1. **Copilot**, inside the Designer: describe the venue, confirm, and it builds the whole chart in one step. It also answers questions about the open chart and edits it on request. 2. **Any chat AI** (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others): copy SeatLayer's prompt, describe the venue, and paste the reply into the Designer under New from, Paste from an AI. SeatLayer checks what the AI wrote, names every problem by field with a button that copies the fixes back to the AI, shows a preview and builds the chart. 3. **Your own agent over MCP** (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or another MCP client): the SeatLayer MCP tool `build_from_venue_spec` builds the whole venue in one call and can check it first without saving. Connect https://mcp.seatlayer.io/mcp?tools=build for the 63 chart tools, or the plain address for all 160. What the AI writes is a Venue Spec: a short JSON file that says what the venue has and where, in words, never coordinates. It holds ticket categories and prices, a stage, straight and curved rows, tables, standing areas, booths, bars, entrances, exits, signs and named areas such as a dance floor. Schema: https://docs.seatlayer.io/schemas/venue-spec-v1.json. Guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/agents/venue-spec/ Not possible from a description yet: exact positions or drawn outlines, and perfect conversion of any plan image. The result is an ordinary chart that is finished by hand in the Designer. Every change is a reviewable revision, and publishing stays a separate human action. After the chart, the same agent can run the event over the MCP: create the event (test mode first), set prices, hold or block seats, set up partner sales channels with their own report links, set when online sales close, move an event onto an updated chart (`plan_inventory_change` with `move_event_to_chart`; sold, held and blocked seats keep their state) and read the sales report. A change to an event on sale is shown as a plan and applies only after the person says yes in the chat; account admins get an email of what the agent changed. Payments, the box office and door scanning stay with people, and a refund an agent asks for waits for an admin. Staff scan tickets at the door with the SeatLayer app for iPhone or in a phone browser. AI-led 3D improvement is not available; the released buyer 3D view is a separate product capability. Buyer seat-selection tools (WebMCP in the browser SDK) are a separate interface for buyers, described at https://seatlayer.io/developers/#buyer-agents. Machine-readable capability state: https://seatlayer.io/ai-capabilities.json # 3D Seat Map Software for Ticketing & Venues: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ SeatLayer adds an optional interactive 3D venue to the same published chart that powers the complete 2D buyer Map. It is a progressive enhancement: the 2D picker remains the full selection and checkout path when 3D is disabled, unsupported, withheld for a constrained context, or fails. ## Verified product proof - Current public JavaScript browser SDK: `@seatlayer/js` 0.109.1 (checked 26 October 2026). React, Vue, and Angular wrappers are 0.109.1. This page's proof demo is intentionally pinned to the exact immutable CDN version 0.109.1. Historical benchmark evidence retains its original version. - Public fixture: Grand Theatre template v2. - Fixture capacity: 2,178 seats. - Fixture SHA-256: `648147046b531b85896f538b6f821b1858c669dc6a41b41430627c2e5c6602d2`. - Inventory in the marketing proof is local demo inventory, not a live event socket. - Organizer-uploaded seat, row, floor or venue media remains authoritative. This fixture has none, so the proof opens the live 3D view from the seat, built from the chart. - Current reviewed catalog: 35 of 51 templates carry released relief; 16 physically flat rooms remain flat by design. - Measured renderer run, 27 Aug 2026: At 53,018 seats the buyer renderer measured 17.6 ms p95 frames while panning, zooming and selecting in the disclosed desktop benchmark. The venue was on screen in 348 ms and every seat was drawn within 4.3 s while it stayed interactive; the flat-to-3D transition measured a 34.2 ms p95 frame. Method, numbers and limitations: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/renderer-performance/ Open the chart and test it yourself: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/large-stadium The page starts with a current product capture. It requests no SDK, chart, or WebGL renderer bytes until the visitor explicitly loads the proof. On capable desktop/tablet contexts it mounts the released SeatPicker directly. Phones get a readable poster and full-page product path instead of a desktop canvas squeezed into a narrow frame. ## Buyer journey The same picker can: 1. load the complete 2D Map; 2. enter the 3D venue overview when WebGL2 and the chart/device boundary allow it; 3. keep selection and availability state synchronized between Map and 3D; 4. select an available seat through the same controller path; 5. focus a selected seat with `setBuyerView("venue3d", { flyToSeatId })`; 6. open a clearly labeled view-from-seat source; and 7. return to the Map without making 3D a checkout requirement. Pointer/touch buyers can orbit the 3D scene. Keyboard users retain the Map/3D, navigation and guided controls, but SeatLayer does not claim that the orbit canvas itself is keyboard-equivalent. Reduced-motion preferences keep the decision path while limiting camera motion. ## 2D vs 3D vs 360 vs digital twin - Interactive 2D Map: clearest inventory and exact seat-selection surface; complete fallback. - Chart-derived 3D: adds venue height, rake, levels and orientation from the published chart. - View from a seat: every seat has a live 3D view built from the chart, with look-around and next-seat arrows; organizer-uploaded photos and 360° panoramas replace it where present. - Bespoke architectural digital twin: can provide the highest venue-specific visual fidelity but introduces a custom modeling, review and maintenance workflow. SeatLayer does not claim that 3D is universally better. Chart-derived 3D fits ticketing products and venues that want spatial context without a second SeatLayer modeling workflow. Uploaded panoramas, 2D plus images, or bespoke digital twins may fit other fidelity and maintenance needs. ## SDK boundary ```js const picker = new SeatPicker({ container: "#picker", event: eventKey, publicKey, enable3D: true, seatView: true, onAnalytics: (event) => productAnalytics.capture(event), }); await picker.render(); picker.setBuyerView("venue3d"); picker.setBuyerView("venue3d", { flyToSeatId: selectedSeat.id }); picker.setBuyerView("map"); ``` For a public Platform/SDK event, `publicKey` is publishable and the SDK exchanges `{ event, publicKey }` directly with SeatLayer for one public-only, origin-bound bootstrap response containing chart and inventory. The resulting `bse_` session remains an internal in-memory SDK detail, so the customer backend is not on the public chart-load path. A private login, presale, or channel uses a buyer-access token provider instead of `publicKey`; the provider asks the customer backend for the narrower `bse_` session. The host application keeps identity, checkout and payment. The SDK’s `onAnalytics` callback reports a bounded 3D journey; it does not prove conversion or booking value. Public marketing analytics must allowlist coarse event names and discard raw seat IDs, section IDs, labels and chart data. ## View-from-seat source order 1. seat- or row-level organizer-authored image; 2. floor-level authored fallback; 3. venue-wide authored fallback; or 4. otherwise, the live 3D view from the seat, built from the chart. 3D is offered for venues up to 60,000 seats (30,000 on phones and low-memory devices); larger venues use the complete 2D map. The live 3D view is not photography, an exact architectural digital twin, or a venue-certified restricted-view assessment. ## Claim boundaries SeatLayer publishes a measured renderer run on a stated machine, build and fixture, not a universal device or FPS guarantee, and publishes no universal bundle-size, load-time, setup-time, conversion, revenue, refund, confidence or satisfaction claim for 3D. Physically flat rooms remain flat. SeatLayer does not claim that competitors lack 3D or view-from-seat. ## Evaluation paths - Real no-signup demo: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/grand-theatre?tour=3d - Largest public demos, same 3D seating chart at scale: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/century-stadium-200k (200,000 seats) and https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/century-arena-100k (100,000 seats) - 3D SDK guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/3d-view/ - Developers: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ - Virtual seat-view examples and source model: https://seatlayer.io/view-from-seat/ - Venue Designer: https://seatlayer.io/venue-designer/ - Arenas and stadiums: https://seatlayer.io/arenas-stadiums/ - Performing arts: https://seatlayer.io/performing-arts/ - Templates: https://seatlayer.io/templates/ - Free seating chart maker: https://seatlayer.io/seating-chart-maker/ # Virtual Seat View: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/view-from-seat/ SeatLayer shows the view from a selected seat inside the same picker that holds it. Every seat has a live 3D view built from the published chart: the buyer lands in the seat, can drag to look around, and can step along the row with arrows. Where the organizer has uploaded photos or 360° panoramas, the closest one is shown instead. Every seat view is labelled with its section, row and seat number, the same numbers as on the 2D map, in the cart and on the ticket. The complete 2D Map stays one tap away. 3D is offered for venues up to 60,000 seats (30,000 on phones and low-memory devices). ## Source order 1. seat- or row-level organizer-authored media; 2. floor-level authored fallback; 3. venue-wide authored fallback; or 4. otherwise, the live 3D view from the seat, built from the chart and labelled as live 3D. Venues need no photos to start. They can add exact media later where obstructions, premium positions or material angle changes affect a purchase decision. ## Public demo media The public demos use no photos or AI panoramas: every seat view there is the live 3D view from the chart. It shows where a seat is and what it faces. It is not photography, an exact architectural twin, or a certified sightline. ## 3D versus virtual seat view - Interactive 3D explains levels, sections, elevation and venue orientation while using live seat selection. - A virtual seat view focuses on visual context from a chosen position. - Both remain optional enhancements around the complete 2D buyer Map. ## Released and roadmap boundary Released: live 3D view from every seat, organizer-uploaded photos and panoramas, Map/3D entry, next-seat arrows, seat deep links in the public demo (?tour=3d&seat=), source labels, analytics and 2D fallback. Roadmap: multiresolution mobile delivery, stale-decode cancellation, hotspots, gyro, guided tours, spatial audio and atmosphere. Roadmap items are not availability promises. ## Evaluation paths - Grand Theatre 3D demo, landing in a stalls seat: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/grand-theatre?tour=3d&seat=stalls-3-r5:6 - Interactive 3D product proof: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - SDK guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/3d-view/ # Free Seating Chart Templates: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/templates/ SeatLayer offers 58 free seating chart templates, each a real published chart shown in 2D, and in 3D for venues up to 60,000 seats. Open any of them in the browser-based Designer without an account, edit rows, tables, sections, labels, prices and floors, then download a 300 DPI PDF (A4 or Letter, one page per floor), a PNG up to 4096px or editable JSON. Nothing is watermarked. The same chart can be published to sell seats at $0.50 a ticket with the first 25 free, or rendered inside another product with the SDK. SeatLayer lays out rooms and numbers tables and seats. It does not keep guest lists or class lists. ## Wedding seating chart templates https://seatlayer.io/templates/wedding/ Start from a reception with round tables and a head table, or a ceremony with rows either side of the aisle. Move the tables to match your venue, number them, and print the chart for the venue and your planner. - Wedding Reception, 258 seats, 2D and 3D: Head table and guest tables round the dance floor. - Wedding Ceremony, 198 seats, 2D and 3D: Curved rows either side of the aisle. - Gala Dinner, 360 seats, 2D and 3D: Round tables in arcs around the stage. - Banquet Rounds, 400 seats, 2D and 3D: A grid of round tables with a dance floor. - Banquet Rounds, medium, 250 seats, 2D and 3D: A smaller grid of round tables. - Restaurant Dining Room, 86 seats, 2D and 3D: Two, four and six-tops, booths and a bar. **Is the wedding seating chart template free?** Yes. Open it, change it and download it without an account. There is no trial and no watermark. **Can I print my wedding seating chart?** Yes. Download a 300 DPI PDF sized for A4 or Letter, in portrait or landscape. A PNG up to 4096px works for sharing on a phone or in an email. **Can I change the number of seats at each table?** Yes. Set the seats at each table, add or remove tables, and move the head table and dance floor. Everything in the template stays editable. **Is there a ceremony seating chart template?** Yes. Wedding Ceremony has curved rows either side of a centre aisle leading to the altar, one side for each family. Change the number of rows and seats to fit the room. **Can I put guest names on the chart?** You can number or name every table. SeatLayer does not manage a guest list, so write names on the printed chart or keep them in your planner's list. **Can I sell tickets for a gala or fundraiser dinner?** Yes. Publish the chart and guests pick their seats on your website and pay you directly. It costs $0.50 a ticket and the first 25 are free. ## Table seating chart templates https://seatlayer.io/templates/table/ Round tables for banquets and galas, long tables for boardrooms, and cabaret rooms that mix tables with rows. Change the tables and seats, then print the chart, or sell every seat at every table. - Banquet Rounds, 400 seats, 2D and 3D: A grid of round tables with a dance floor. - Gala Dinner, 360 seats, 2D and 3D: Round tables in arcs around the stage. - Banquet Rounds, medium, 250 seats, 2D and 3D: A smaller grid of round tables. - Wedding Reception, 258 seats, 2D and 3D: Head table and guest tables round the dance floor. - Cabaret, 300 seats, 2D and 3D: Tables up front, rows behind. - Comedy Club, 176 seats, 2D and 3D: Small round tables close to the stage. - Nightclub, 756 seats, 2D and 3D: A dance floor ringed by VIP tables, plus a mezzanine. - Restaurant Dining Room, 86 seats, 2D and 3D: Two, four and six-tops, booths and a bar. - U-Shape Boardroom, 80 seats, 2D and 3D: Tables in a U, open towards the stage. **Are the table seating chart templates free?** Yes. Open, edit and download them without an account. You only pay if you sell tickets through SeatLayer, at $0.50 a ticket with the first 25 free. **Can I use round and long tables in one chart?** Yes. A chart can mix round tables, long tables, rows of seats and standing areas. The U-Shape Boardroom and Cabaret templates show two ways to do it. **Can buyers book seats at a table?** Yes. Each chair is its own seat, so buyers pick exact seats at a table, and seats held by one buyer cannot be sold to another. **Can I print a table seating chart?** Yes. Download a 300 DPI PDF sized for A4 or Letter, or a PNG up to 4096px. **Which template suits a gala or awards dinner?** Gala Dinner puts round tables in arcs around a stage and dance floor. Banquet Rounds is a simple grid if the room is square. ## Classroom and lecture seating chart templates https://seatlayer.io/templates/classroom/ Rows facing the front for classrooms and training rooms, raked lecture halls, and graduation layouts with guests on the tiers. Open it, change it and download it without an account, with no watermark. **Can I print a classroom seating chart?** Yes. Download a 300 DPI PDF sized for A4 or Letter, in portrait or landscape, or a PNG up to 4096px. **Can I change the number of rows and seats?** Yes. Add or remove rows, change the seats in each, and add aisles anywhere. **Can I add student names?** Seats and rows are numbered and can be renamed. SeatLayer does not keep a class list, so most teachers write names on the printed chart. **Is there a template for a graduation or school event?** Yes. Graduation Ceremony seats graduates on the floor and guests on the tiers. If you sell tickets to guests, publish the chart and they pick their own seats. ## Theater seating chart templates https://seatlayer.io/templates/theater/ Proscenium houses, thrust stages, black boxes, opera houses and concert halls, with stalls, circles and boxes already drawn. Keep one venue and switch the floor layout per event, such as seats for a boxing night and a standing floor for a concert. # Go live for $0. Pay as seats sell. SeatLayer is cloud only. ### Examples and how we calculate costs Method: apply up to 100 free SDK credits in each entered month, use your existing balance, then choose the cheapest pack combination covering the remaining period. This is a planned top-up for the whole period; buying smaller packs month by month may cost more. Select the lowest-priced applicable published annual seats.io plan and seatmap.pro cloud cap. A two-year estimate repeats your entered sales year and applies seatmap.pro’s published 10% cloud prepay discount; annual caps still reset each year. Monthly plan switching, custom discounts, taxes, processor fees and Hosted Ticketing are excluded. An SLA selection requires a separate SeatLayer entitlement quote; the displayed SDK credit charge is only the base cost. White label is included with any SeatLayer credit pack, so selecting it only raises the competitor plan tier. Peer support and feature scope are not identical. All sales in one month, zero starting credits, used seats equal sold seats, standard annual plans, original currencies. These remain readable with JavaScript off. You pay one credit per seat, only when a sale is confirmed. Everything before that is free. Full rules are in the [credit billing documentation](https://docs.seatlayer.io/billing/credits/). ### Before confirmation - Design and publish venue charts - Show and browse the seat map - Select seats and create temporary holds - Release holds or manage house blocks - Move seats at the box office - Open the optional 3D view ### At the first confirmed sale When your system confirms a booking, each sold seat uses one credit. A box office sale counts the same way. A seat is only ever charged once, and opening 3D never uses a credit. [How seat bookings are confirmed →](https://seatlayer.io/features/#confirm) 1. 01 Buyer opens the map $0 **Buyer opens the map** 2. 02 Two seats held $0 **Two seats held** 3. 03 Checkout succeeds Your checkout **Checkout succeeds** 4. 04 Two seats confirmed sold −2 CREDITS **Two seats confirmed sold** ## Pricing questions Still have a question? or email [hello@seatlayer.io](mailto:hello@seatlayer.io). ### When exactly is a sold-seat credit used? One credit is used the first time a seat is confirmed sold for an event. Browsing the map, picking seats, holding, releasing, blocking or moving seats never uses a credit. ### Do purchased credits expire? No. Credits you buy never expire and stay in your organization's balance until used. If no seats sell, no credits are used. ### How much does Hosted Ticketing cost? $0.50 per confirmed ticket, and every new organization gets its first 25 tickets free. There is no subscription. Buyers pay into your own gateway (Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack and iyzico), which charges its own processing fee. Hosted tickets are billed separately from SDK credits. ### Do I need a card to start? No. Test mode is free, with no time limit and no card. Test events, holds, live updates and webhooks work like production and use no credits. Switch to a live key when you are ready to sell. ### Is Copilot or other AI work billed by credits? No. AI features are not billed with seat credits today. If that ever changes, you will see the cost before anything runs. ### Is a monthly subscription required? No. Buy a credit pack when you need one. For large volumes or enterprise terms, talk to us. ### How much does a seat map API cost? One prepaid credit per confirmed sold seat, and nothing else. Packs run from 10¢ a seat on the 500-credit pack down to 5¢ from 50,000 credits. Every organization gets 100 free credits a month, there is no subscription, and purchased credits never expire. ### Is there a free seat map API tier? Yes. Go live for $0 with 100 free sold seats every month. Designing charts and test mode are free too, with no time limit and no card. ### How does SeatLayer pricing compare to seats.io? SeatLayer's starting seat price is around 50% lower: $0.10 per sold seat against seats.io's €0.18 per used seat. You go live for $0 with 100 free seats a month and no annual plan, and purchased credits never expire. seats.io Silver starts at €450 a year for 2,500 used seats. Your total depends on your sales, so use the calculator above. ### Do vendors charge extra for reserved seating, seat-level prices or map editing? Not with SeatLayer. The seating chart, the Designer, prices down to a single seat and the 3D view cost nothing extra: you pay only when a seat sells, 10¢ down to 5¢ per sold seat on the SDK or $0.50 a ticket on Hosted Ticketing. Some ticketing tools charge more for a seated ticket or a fee to build the chart, so check that line on any price page. ### Do free ticketing platforms limit reserved seating or custom event pages? Many do. SeatLayer does not hold reserved seating back: every account can draw charts, sell reserved seats, open them in 3D, and publish an event page or put the seat map on its own website. The free part is your first 25 hosted tickets, or 100 sold seats every month on the SDK. After that you pay per ticket or per sold seat, with no subscription. ### Is there a contract or a minimum spend? No contract and no subscription. You buy prepaid credits when you need them, the smallest pack is $50, and purchased credits never expire. Large on-sales can agree an SLA and invoicing with us. ## Start in test mode. Eight jobs your product can hand to SeatLayer, from drawing the venue to the box office and AI agents. Pick one to see the screen and the call behind it. - Draw the venue - Sell on your site and app - Box office - Control room - Channels and partners - Runs and seasons - Live seats and webhooks - AI agents ### Let your organisers draw the venue inside your admin. Embed the SeatLayer Designer with a short-lived session your backend creates. Organisers start from a template, describe the room to an AI, or click over a floor plan. Publishing checks the chart before anyone can sell from it. - Sections, rows, tables, standing areas and wheelchair spaces - Read-only, edit or publish rights, one chart per session - The same chart sells online, at the counter and through partners [Embedded Designer guide →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/embedded-designer/) [Venue designer →](https://seatlayer.io/venue-designer/) ### Sell on your website and in your app. Drop in the ready seat picker or build around the bare map. Buyers ask for the best seats together, see them in 2D or 3D with the view from the seat, and hold them while they pay in your checkout. - Best seats together, selection rules and a hold timer - The same live map on the web, iOS, Android, React Native and Flutter - Your checkout gets the hold; your server books it [SeatPicker guide →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/seat-picker/) [Best seats →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/best-available/) [3D seat map →](https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/) ### Sell at your counter from the same live map. Your staff pick seats in the control room you embed. Your point of sale takes the money. Your server books those exact seats, so the counter and your website never sell the same seat twice. - All seats or none: if one was just sold online, nothing changes and staff pick again - Send the same booking reference twice and it never sells twice - Comps and house seats use the same call - Cancel returns the seats; the refund stays in your system [Counter sale API →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/server-api/cancellations-and-box-office/) [Or let SeatLayer run the box office →](https://seatlayer.io/box-office/) ### Give your operators a live control room. Embed SeatManager in your own admin: live sold and held counts, activity, and the tools to block seats, change categories, cancel and read reports. Your backend decides exactly which tools each person gets, and the server refuses anything else. - Runs in your page, not an iframe - One event per token, bound to your site, expires on its own - JavaScript, Vue and Angular [Control room guide →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/embedded-control-room/) [SeatManager reference →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/seat-manager/) ### Split one event between channels and partners. Presale, sponsors, a partner's allocation, a private link: each audience sees only the seats and prices you give it, and the event keeps one seat count, so nothing oversells. - Partners sell their allocation from their own system - Private buyers get a short-lived access session from your server - Sales and seats by channel in the reports [Sales channels guide →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/sales-channels/) [Sales channels →](https://seatlayer.io/sales-channels/) ### Sell a run of shows or a whole season. Put many performances on one chart and let buyers switch between them in the performance picker. Season tickets keep the same seat for every show, with renewal for the next season. - PerformanceGroupPicker for runs, SeasonPicker for season plans - Season webhooks for plans, sales, renewals and changes - Works from your CMS through the server API [Performance groups →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/performance-groups/) [Seasons →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/seasons/) ### Live seats on every screen. Signed webhooks to your server. Every buyer gets a snapshot of the seats when the map opens, then each change as it happens. Holds and bookings for one event are handled in order, so two buyers never get the same seat. - Eight published event types, signed with HMAC-SHA256 - Retries and a delivery log you can read - REST and OpenAPI for any backend [The seat map API below ↓](https://seatlayer.io/developers/#api) [Webhook events →](https://docs.seatlayer.io/webhooks/events/) ``` POST https://your-server/webhooks/seatlayer X-SeatLayer-Signature: sha256= content-type: application/json ``` ### Let AI agents do the setup, and help buyers find seats. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client to the SeatLayer MCP. It builds the venue, sets up the event and its prices, and runs sales, while every live change waits for your yes. On your buyer pages, an in-browser assistant can find and pick seats, but never pay. - Build a whole venue from one Venue Spec - Buyer tools are opt-in, with no payment tool - Your coding assistant can read our docs and SDK reference [Agent tools below ↓](https://seatlayer.io/developers/#platform-tools) [AI seating chart →](https://seatlayer.io/ai-seating-chart/) Build a 640-seat theatre with stalls and a circle, then set up Friday's show at $45 and $30. Chart built and checked: 640 seats, 2 price levels. Friday's event is ready. Open sales? Waiting for your yes. Want it built for you? Turn on WebMCP in the JavaScript browser SDK and a compatible in-browser assistant can describe the event, find seats together within a budget, select them and read the selection. Holding is optional and uses the normal checkout handoff. There is no payment tool: it cannot set trusted prices or complete a booking. Deltas after. Trusted decisions stay server-side. Every buyer gets a snapshot of the seats when the map opens, then live updates as others hold and buy. Holds and bookings for one event are processed in order, so two buyers can never get the same seat. Public pickers start with {event, publicKey}; booking always happens on your server with a secret sk_ key. - **Reconnects are safe** - **One seat, one winner** - **Tested under a rush** ``` // on connect {"type": "snapshot", "seats": {"A-1": "free", "A-2": "booked", "C-14": "free"}} // then, as buyers act {"type": "delta", "changes": [{"label": "C-14", "status": "held"}]} ``` An illustration of how two buyers racing for one seat are handled. [Read the live-inventory guide](https://docs.seatlayer.io/start/how-it-works/). ## The seat map API: snapshot, deltas and signed webhooks Three kinds of key, each with a clear job. The public key loads the picker in the browser. The buyer session holds and releases seats. The secret key, kept on your server, books seats and manages the event. Reuse the same bookingRef if a booking result is unknown, and it will never book twice. | Credential | Where it lives | Can | Cannot | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Event key | Browser, mobile app | Identify one event | Authorize Platform/SDK chart or inventory routes by itself | | pk_test_ pk_live_ | Browser, mobile app | With event, bootstrap Public-sale chart and inventory for a registered origin and matching mode | Read private channels, identify a buyer, inspect a hold, or book | | bse_ (public bootstrap) | SDK memory; minted by SeatLayer | Render, subscribe, select, hold and release Public-sale inventory for one event and origin | Persist safely, access private channels, inspect holds, or book | | bse_ (private audience) | SDK memory; returned by your backend token provider | Expose the exact event, origin and private channels your server authorizes | Book, persist safely, or stand in for an account secret | | dse_ | Embedded Designer; minted by your server | Open one origin-, workspace- and chart-scoped Designer session with explicit actions | Operate SeatManager, buyer inventory or account APIs | | mse_ | SeatManager; minted by your server | Open one event-scoped operator surface with explicit capabilities | Open the Designer, book as an account, or provision resources | | sk_test_ | Your server | Everything on sandbox events; livemode: false, no credits used | Touch a live event (403 mode_mismatch) | | sk_live_ | Your server | Inspect holds, book, block, provision, report on live events | Touch a sandbox event | | Endpoint | Auth | Does | | --- | --- | --- | | POST /pub/events/:key/bootstrap | public key + Origin | Public chart + inventory + internal buyer session | | WS /pub/events/:key/subscribe | bse_ | Snapshot + delta stream | | POST /pub/events/:key/hold | bse_ | Hold seats or GA atomically | | POST /pub/events/:key/release | bse_ | Release a hold | | POST /pub/events/:key/best-available | bse_ | Find and hold seats together | | POST /v1/events/:key/book | secret key | Finalize a sale idempotently | | POST /v1/events/:key/block | secret key | Block or unblock house seats | | POST /v1/seasons | secret key | Create a Fixed Renewable Season and immutable Plan | | POST /v1/webhooks | session | Manage webhook endpoints | | POST /v1/keys | session | Create, rotate or revoke keys | ``` // POST /v1/events/:key/book with a different bookingRef, // an expired hold or missing inventory: nothing is newly booked HTTP 409 {"error": "conflict", "conflicts": [{"label": "A-12", "status": "booked"}]} // same holdId + bookingRef after a timeout: idempotent replay HTTP 200 {"ok": true, "booked": []} ``` - bookingRef is the idempotency key. With checkOnly it reports every problem by field and saves nothing. The file never holds coordinates; SeatLayer places everything. [READ THE VENUE SPEC GUIDE ↗](https://docs.seatlayer.io/agents/venue-spec/) ### Connect with?tools=build https://mcp.seatlayer.io/mcp?tools=build shows the AI the 63 chart tools for building, editing, pricing, checking and publishing instead of all 160, so each turn carries less. The plain URL keeps every tool, and?tools=events lists the live-event tools. Either way, the grant decides what a call may do, and publishing needs a person's approval. Still have a question? or email [hello@seatlayer.io](mailto:hello@seatlayer.io). SeatLayer targets reserved or assigned seating. GA capacity is supported only as an area inside a reserved-seat chart; pure-GA and chartless events are not supported. ### Can I build native buyer controls around the seat map? Yes. Flutter, React Native, iOS and Android support native buyer UI and layout composition around the shared WebView seat renderer. Use the ready picker, customize its controls, compose your layout or build around the raw map. This is native control over the buying interface, not a claim of a fully native map engine. ### Can I use the free seat map API allowance in production? Yes. Standard Platform/SDK organizations can go live with $0 upfront and 100 free confirmed sold-seat credits each month. Buy non-expiring credits when needed, starting at $50 for 500. Your checkout, payment processing and any separately priced add-ons remain your responsibility. ### Which frameworks and languages does the SeatLayer SDK support? Stable web packages cover JavaScript and TypeScript, React, Vue 3 and Angular 17+. Official server SDKs cover Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Go, Ruby and.NET, while REST and OpenAPI support other backends. Supported production mobile SDKs cover React Native, Flutter, iOS and Android. ### What is the difference between SeatPicker and SeatingChart? SeatPicker is the complete buyer surface: map, selection, cart, tiers and GA, hold timer, responsive UI, optional 3D and onCheckout handoff. SeatingChart is the headless map for a product that wants to build its own cart, timer, confirmation and surrounding controls. ### Does a public seat map wait for my backend to create a buyer token? No. Pass {event, publicKey} for a public Platform/SDK event. The SDK calls SeatLayer directly and receives chart, inventory and a short-lived public-only bse_ session together; that internal session stays in memory. For a login, presale or private channel, supply a buyer-access token provider instead of publicKey. The provider calls your backend for the narrower bse_ session. ### Can a coding agent help integrate SeatLayer? Yes. SeatLayer publishes LLM-readable Markdown documentation and an open-source AI Toolkit with live-doc routing, a read-only integration doctor and verification guidance. The canonical documentation, your repository architecture and production testing remain the source of truth. ### Can an external AI agent work on a SeatLayer chart? Yes. Connect the SeatLayer MCP and approve it for one chart or a workspace. The client builds and edits charts, and with your permission runs events and reads reports. Live changes wait for your yes. ### Is there a real-time seat inventory API? Yes. Each buyer’s map loads the event’s seats and then gets every change live. Two buyers can never get the same seat, even when thousands click at once. When 30 requests raced for one seat in our published test, one hold succeeded and every other request was told the seat was taken. ### What is a seat map API? A seat map API lets a ticketing product show a venue’s seats, see which are free right now, and hold or sell specific ones. SeatLayer covers all three with web, mobile and server SDKs plus REST and OpenAPI. The browser loads the map with an event id and a public key, your server books seats with a secret key, and live updates keep every buyer’s map current. Comparing providers? See [how SeatLayer compares with seats.io.](https://seatlayer.io/vs/seats-io/) ### How do I integrate a seat map into a ticketing platform? Add the seat picker to your web or mobile app with an event id and a public key; no backend call is needed for a public sale. For private sales, your server hands the picker a buyer token instead. Your server then books seats with a server SDK or REST and a secret key, and listens for signed webhooks. If a booking result is unclear, retry with the same bookingRef and it will never book twice. Test mode is free, with no time limit and no card. The [platform SDK quickstart](https://docs.seatlayer.io/start/quickstart/) walks through it end to end. ### Does the seat map API support temporary seat holds? Yes. Holding and releasing seats are first-class operations: the browser uses its in-memory bse_ buyer session to select, hold and release, a trusted server-only sk_ key can inspect holds and book them, and holds, releases and expiry all arrive as inventory deltas on every connected session. Holding a seat is not a sale. Rendering charts, holds, releases, house blocks and unsold inventory never consume a credit, and only a confirmed sold seat does. See [seat map API pricing.](https://seatlayer.io/pricing/) ## Prove your complete integration in test mode. Create test keys, hold and book a seat through your backend, and check a signed webhook before you go live. Want to look first? [browse the live seat map demos](https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/), or hold a run of performances together in the [Performance Group demo](https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/performance-groups). [Start building free](https://app.seatlayer.io/) [Discuss your integration](https://seatlayer.io/contact/) # JavaScript seating chart: how to build one in JS and React Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/guides/javascript-seating-chart/ To build a seating chart in JavaScript, render each seat as a button with a stable ID and an `aria-pressed` state, and keep the buyer's selection in a `Set`. That prototype is enough to learn from; to sell seats you then need server-owned inventory, atomic holds with expiry, real-time updates and idempotent booking. The browser tracks intent; the server owns the rest. ## Browser prototype Plain JavaScript can render semantic seat buttons with stable IDs and `aria-pressed` selection. Unavailable seats should be disabled, and a live text summary should expose the selected IDs. A local `Set` is useful teaching code, but it is not inventory. DOM and SVG are straightforward for smaller maps and expose useful semantics. Canvas and WebGL can reduce DOM pressure in denser scenes but require more work for hit testing, focus, labels, accessible equivalents, and device fallbacks. There is no universal renderer winner. ## React The React version keeps the same contract: one button per seat, a stable id, `aria-pressed`, and the selected ids in a `Set` held by `useState`. Replace the Set on every toggle so React re-renders. It owns interaction only, so two browsers can each select the same seat. ## Production responsibilities 1. A versioned venue document with stable seats, rows, sections, floors, categories, labels, accessibility, and geometry. 2. Free, held, booked, blocked, and released seat state kept on a server. 3. Holds with expiry, so exactly one buyer wins a contested seat and a hold ends without relying on an open browser tab. 4. A snapshot plus later inventory deltas for connected buyers. 5. Trusted server inspection before pricing and payment, then idempotent booking using a stable commerce reference. 6. Signed webhooks, history and reports for reconciliation, plus staff operations, scoped authorization and accessible alternatives. Browser selection is intent. The server decides whether the seat becomes held or returns a conflict; a frontend disabled state cannot prevent a double sale. ## Build versus SDK DIY can fit a small static map, an internal workflow, or a deliberately narrow interaction. Evaluate an SDK when the product needs reusable charts, multiple concurrent buyers, real-time inventory, holds, expiry, booking, webhooks, organizer/staff surfaces, and framework/server support as one maintained seating layer. SeatLayer's released web path uses `@seatlayer/js` or `@seatlayer/react`. `SeatPicker` renders the complete buyer surface and hands an opaque `holdId` to the host server. The host owns identity, pricing, checkout, payment, orders, tickets, delivery, refunds, scanning and support. SeatLayer owns charts, live inventory, holds, inventory booking, signed webhooks, history, reports and embedded venue tools. For a public event, the SDK sends `{ event, publicKey }` directly to SeatLayer and receives the chart, inventory, and an internal `bse_` buyer session without waiting on the customer backend. For a private audience, a buyer-access provider replaces `publicKey` and asks that backend for a narrower `bse_` session. `sk_` credentials stay in server environments only. Production can start at $0: every Platform/SDK organization receives 100 free confirmed sold-seat credits per month. Paid packs start at $0.10 per sold seat, purchased credits never expire, and there is no standard subscription commitment. The prototype on this page remains browser-local; the production path is the published package plus server-authoritative hold and booking flow. Buyers choose their exact seat, pay through the organizer's own payment account, and receive tickets by email. Every event also has its own SeatLayer event page to share as a link, so a website is not required to start selling. ## Placement choices - Inline seat picker: seat selection and checkout inside the event page. - Event card: event details plus a button that opens the picker. - Buy tickets button: the smallest placement, opening the same picker. All three use the same event, checkout and live inventory. On Wix, use the event card or the button, because payment completes through a redirect. ## The buyer journey 1. The buyer picks seats and continues to checkout. The seats are held, with a visible countdown. 2. Checkout lists every seat with its section, row, ticket type and price, keeps the total in view, and opens as a bottom sheet on phones. It follows the buyer's language and supports dark mode. 3. The buyer pays on the organizer's gateway page. A free event confirms without payment. 4. Tickets arrive by email with QR codes and a printable PDF, and a link opens them without logging in. Test events show "No real charge" and issue tickets that are not valid for entry. ## Payments Buyers pay into the organizer's own account, so ticket money never passes through SeatLayer. 14 payment gateways are supported, including Stripe, PayPal and Square. Refund or cancel any order from the dashboard. See https://seatlayer.io/payments/. ## Same seats everywhere The website, the box office counter and door check-in all read one live seat map. A seat sold at the counter is gone online at once. Every chart includes a 3D view from each seat, and door check-in runs on SeatLayer for iPhone or a phone browser. ## Pricing $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with 25 tickets free for every new organization. No subscription and no percentage. The gateway charges its own processing fee. Free events use one ticket each. See https://seatlayer.io/pricing/. ## When to use the SDK instead A product that must react to seat selection or run its own checkout should use the [SeatLayer SDK](https://seatlayer.io/developers/). Canonical page: https://seatlayer.io/sell-tickets-on-your-website/ # WordPress Seating Chart and Ticketing Plugin: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/integrations/wordpress/ SeatLayer Seating Charts is a free WordPress ticketing plugin for reserved-seat events. It puts an interactive seat map on any page or post with a block or the `[seatlayer_chart event="…"]` shortcode. Buyers see live availability, pick exact seats, have them held while they pay, and pay through the organizer's own payment gateway. Install it from wordpress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/seatlayer-seating-charts/ ## Price The plugin is free and MIT licensed. Selling costs $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with the first 25 tickets free. There is no subscription and no percentage of the ticket price. The payment gateway charges its own processing fee. ## What buyers and organizers get - Interactive seat map with rows, sections, tables, booths, standing areas, accessible seats and multiple floors, from a 300-seat room to a stadium. - Seat holds with a checkout countdown, so two buyers never get the same seat. - Ticket types such as Adult, Child and Senior, and category pricing. - Payment through the organizer's own gateway: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit or Flutterwave. Money goes straight to the organizer's account. - A confirmation email with a QR code and printable PDF ticket for every seat; door check-in from a phone browser; refunds and cancellations from the SeatLayer dashboard. - Mobile seat selection with touch and pinch-to-zoom, and an optional 3D view. ## Page builders and WooCommerce The block works in the block editor. The shortcode works in the classic editor and any page builder that accepts shortcodes, including Elementor. The plugin runs alongside WooCommerce; seat sales go through the organizer's gateway and do not create WooCommerce orders. ## Why a plugin rather than a pasted embed - An optional secret key stays on the server and only fills the event dropdown in the editor; the public chart needs just the event key. - Editors pick the event by name from a dropdown. - With checkout on the WordPress page, a buyer who pays by card returns to the exact page they bought from. ## Setup 1. Build the venue and create the event in SeatLayer. 2. Connect your payment gateway and assign it to the event. 3. Install and activate the plugin (WordPress 6.3+, PHP 7.4+). 4. Add the block and pick the event, or paste the shortcode. 5. Buy a test seat, then open sales. A site that must run its own checkout or react to seat selection in code should use the [SeatLayer SDK](https://seatlayer.io/developers/) instead. # Interactive Venue & Seating Chart Designer: SeatLayer Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/venue-designer/ SeatLayer Venue Designer creates reusable production seating charts. Model curved, straight, or fanned rows; round or rectangular tables; booths; GA capacity areas inside a reserved-seat chart; sections; labels; shapes; focal points; accessibility; categories; ticket tiers; per-seat overrides; and multiple floors. Validation helps teams resolve structural problems before publishing. SeatLayer production events require reserved or assigned seating; pure-GA and chartless events are not supported. ## Start by describing the room Nobody has to learn the Designer to make a chart. Describe the venue to Copilot inside the Designer, to Claude or ChatGPT connected over the SeatLayer MCP, or to any chat AI and paste its reply into the Designer (New from, Paste from an AI). SeatLayer checks what the AI wrote, names every problem by field and builds an editable chart. The Designer is then where the finishing touches happen: curved rows, tables, standing areas, booths, stages and landmarks, prices, accessibility, checks before publishing and optional 3D. Details: https://seatlayer.io/ai-seating-chart/ ## One chart across released surfaces The same published venue document powers: - 2D authoring in the Designer. - Optional geometry-generated 3D preview and buyer view. - The complete 2D buyer Map. - Event inventory and venue operations. Released product captures on the page show the Grand Theatre in 2D authoring, 3D preview, and buyer selection. The specialist 3D page is https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/. ## Start and publish workflow 1. Start from a description (Copilot or any AI), a working template, a blank canvas, or a private reference plan. 2. Model seating geometry and venue structure. 3. Add categories, ticket tiers, labels, and accessibility. 4. Resolve validation warnings and inspect the buyer view. 5. Publish a chart version and reuse the venue across events. The live Grand Theatre Designer is available without signup: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/designer/grand-theatre ## Reference-plan boundary PNG, JPEG, or WebP can be a private trace reference. For PDF, choose one page from a source up to 15 MB and 100 pages; the selected page is rasterized into the private trace layer. This is not native PDF or vector conversion. The private trace is independent from an optional URL-only buyer background, and trace bytes and provenance never reach buyers. A bounded, sanitized SVG/DXF subset becomes ordinary editable Shape objects. This is not arbitrary SVG or full CAD fidelity, does not add SVG export, and does not round-trip the source PDF. A downloadable chart PDF is a clean rendered output. ## Product routes - Templates: https://seatlayer.io/templates/ - Free create-and-download workflow: https://seatlayer.io/seating-chart-maker/ - Optional 3D: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - Embedded Designer for platforms: https://seatlayer.io/ticketing-platforms/ - Buyer preview: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/grand-theatre An embedded Designer opens with a short-lived, origin-bound `dse_` session minted by a trusted backend using an `sk_` credential; the secret never reaches the browser. SeatManager uses its own `mse_` session. Public buyer charts use `{ event, publicKey }` directly, while private buyer charts replace `publicKey` with a buyer-access provider. # Box Office Software for Reserved Seating: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ SeatLayer's box office sells at the counter from the same live seat map as the organizer's website. A seat sold at the counter disappears from every online buyer's map at once, and every ticket, online or at the counter, is checked in at the same door. ## Counter sale - Pick seats on the map or from a list, type a seat such as H12, or ask for the best seats together in a price. "Pick again" swaps in the next best block. - Standing areas are sold by quantity. Tables are sold whole or by the chair. - Staff record how they were paid: Cash (the default), Card on the venue's own card machine, Complimentary, or a method the admin added, such as bank transfer. SeatLayer never charges a card at the counter. - Discounts come from presets the admin creates, a percentage or a fixed amount. Staff apply a preset; they cannot type their own discount. Comps are recorded with a reason. - Tickets print on an 80 mm roll or A4, chosen once per device, or are emailed to the buyer. ## After the sale - Find any order by name, email, phone (four digits or more), 8-digit order number or ticket code. - Print again (every copy is logged and keeps the same QR code), resend by email, change seats, and read the order history. - Door check-in runs on SeatLayer for iPhone, which keeps the night's door list on the phone and keeps scanning when the signal drops, or in a phone or tablet browser. - Only admins refund or cancel. A refund goes back through the gateway the buyer paid with; an order paid another way can be cancelled without a refund. ## Staff role The Box office role is limited to the counter and the door: sell, apply discount presets, find orders, print and email tickets, change seats, and check people in. The server refuses anything else, including refunds, cancellations, settings, billing and keys. ## Pricing and payments $0.50 per confirmed ticket, including counter sales, with 25 tickets free for every new organization. No subscription. Online buyers pay into the organizer's own gateway: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit and Flutterwave. ## Keeping another point of sale A venue with its own point of sale can keep it and use SeatLayer only for the seats, through the SDK and API. The venue's system then owns orders, tickets and refunds, and SeatLayer holds and books the seats. ## Boundary SeatLayer is not a patron CRM, membership or donor system, accounting suite, or general-admission-only ticketing product. # Payment Gateways for Ticket Sales: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/payments/ SeatLayer Hosted Ticketing takes payment through the organizer's own gateway account. Buyers pay the organizer directly, so ticket money never passes through SeatLayer, and SeatLayer is never the merchant of record. ## Seven gateways Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit and Flutterwave are all supported. - Stripe: paste a restricted key; the payment webhook is created for you. - Razorpay: paste a key ID, key secret and webhook secret. - PayPal for most countries, Tap for the Middle East and the Gulf, Mercado Pago for Latin America, Xendit for Southeast Asia, Flutterwave for Africa. Each connects with your own keys. Checkout, tickets and door check-in work the same with every gateway. Need a gateway that is not listed? Organizers can request one: https://seatlayer.io/contact/ ## How it works 1. Connect: paste keys on Settings → Payments. Test and live connections sit side by side. 2. Assign: choose the connection in the event's setup. Its mode and currency must match the event. 3. Sell: buyers pay on the gateway's own payment page and return to their tickets. Refunds go back through the same gateway, and any order can be refunded or cancelled from the dashboard. ## Pricing $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with 25 free for every new organization. No percentage and no subscription. The gateway charges its own processing fee and sets its own payout timing. Setup guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/sell/connect-payments/ # Reserved Seating SDK for Ticketing Platforms: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/ticketing-platforms/ SeatLayer adds reserved seating to a multi-tenant ticketing product: one isolated workspace per organizer, their charts and events living inside the host product, while checkout, payments, tickets and customer records stay with the host. ## Model mapping | Host product | SeatLayer | | --- | --- | | Venue / layout | Reusable chart | | Performance, departure or timed session | Event with independent inventory | | Tenant, organizer or customer account | Workspace | | Cart reservation | Hold | | Inventory committed for a paid order | Inventory booking | | Host's stable resource id | `externalRef` | `workspaceId` is the enforced isolation boundary; `externalRef` carries the host's own ids back through API responses and webhooks. ## Transaction shape The browser selects exact seats and hands one temporary hold to the host application. The host backend rechecks that hold, takes payment, and confirms the sale. Account secrets never reach the buyer browser, and one webhook endpoint hears every organizer. For a public event, the browser gives the SDK `{ event, publicKey }`; the SDK obtains chart and inventory directly from SeatLayer and keeps its internal `bse_` access in memory, so the customer backend is not on the chart-load path. A private audience uses a buyer-access provider instead of `publicKey` to obtain a narrower `bse_` session. Embedded Designer and SeatManager use `dse_` and `mse_` sessions respectively, while `sk_` credentials remain server-only. ## Embedded control panel (Control Room) Next to the Designer, a platform can embed the control panel with the same SDK (`SeatManager` from `@seatlayer/js/manager`). It is a live board for one event inside the platform's own admin, so organizers track every seat in real time without a SeatLayer login: sold, held, free and blocked seats, sales heat and live activity. With the tools the platform allows, an organizer can block and release seats (with a reason and a timed release), open, close, hide or schedule sections, move seats between price levels for that event, sell tables whole or by the chair, manage sales-channel allocations, and open booking history, breakdowns, downloadable reports and the audit trail. The platform backend grants each operator's tools in an event-scoped `mse_` session; view-only is the default and no secret key reaches the browser. Guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/embedded-control-room/ ## What the platform keeps Checkout, payments, orders, tickets, refunds, customer records, scheduling and support remain the host's. SeatLayer supplies seating geometry, live inventory, holds, booking APIs, signed webhooks and the operator surfaces, including an embeddable Designer session so organizers author charts without separate SeatLayer logins. The buyer interface can use the complete picker or a lower-level map, add chart-derived 3D from the same selection state, and run through web or supported native SDKs. Flutter, React Native, iOS, and Android expose composable app controls around the shared map; their package releases are maintained independently. A compatible browser can also opt into buyer WebMCP: the assistant can describe the event, find and visibly select seats, inspect the selection, and optionally place a hold. It cannot check out, take payment, or confirm the final booking. ## Commercial model Usage-based: one prepaid credit per confirmed sold seat, packs from 10¢ down to a 5¢ floor, 100 free credits per organization each month, so standard production can start at $0. There is no standard subscription and purchased credits never expire. Designing, rendering, holds, releases, blocks and unsold inventory consume nothing. ## Inspect the SDKs - JavaScript: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@seatlayer/js - React: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@seatlayer/react - Flutter: https://pub.dev/packages/seatlayer - SDK source: https://github.com/seatlayer/seatlayer-sdk - Buyer quickstart: https://docs.seatlayer.io/start/quickstart/ - Mobile SDK guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/mobile/ - Buyer WebMCP tools: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/webmcp-agent-tools/ - 3D buyer guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/3d-view/ # Venue Seating and Ticketing Software: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/venues/ SeatLayer is white-label seating and ticketing for venues: the venue's own brand, its own website and its own payment account, with no marketplace in between. With the SDK, the "Powered by SeatLayer" badge is removed with any credit pack; for Hosted Ticketing, white label is available on request. A venue builds its seating chart once in SeatLayer and reuses it for every event. Each event keeps its own live inventory, and the website, the box office counter and the door all sell and scan from it. ## Run your own ticketing - Seat picker and checkout on the venue's own website, with QR and PDF tickets by email. - Box office counter: best seats, tables by the chair, standing areas by quantity, 80 mm or A4 printing, order lookup and reprint. - Refund or cancel any order from the dashboard. - Door check-in from a phone or tablet browser. - Payment through the venue's own gateway: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit or Flutterwave. - $0.50 per confirmed ticket, 25 free to start, no subscription. ## Or add seating to the system you already have A venue or its developer can embed the seat picker through the SDK and API and keep its own checkout, orders, tickets and refunds. Every organization gets 100 free sold-seat credits a month; packs start at $0.10 per seat and purchased credits never expire. ## One room, many events Seats, rows, sections, tables, booths, accessibility, categories and floors live in one chart. Publishing freezes a reviewed version; each event pins it and keeps its own free, held, sold and blocked seats. ## 3D and view from seat The 2D map is always there. Optional 3D and view-from-seat use the same chart and selection, and are included for every customer. Venue photos take precedence; otherwise the generated view is labelled as generated. ## Boundary SeatLayer is not a patron CRM, membership platform, scheduler, accounting suite, discovery marketplace or general-admission-only product. ## Related pages - Box office: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ - Payments: https://seatlayer.io/payments/ - Venue Designer: https://seatlayer.io/venue-designer/ - View from seat: https://seatlayer.io/view-from-seat/ - Pricing: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ # Arena and Stadium Seating Software: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/arenas-stadiums/ SeatLayer models large bowls as authored decks and sections published to one live event, giving buyers a readable path from venue overview to an exact seat instead of a wall of dots. ## Public stadium and arena proof - [200,000-seat stadium](https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/century-stadium-200k) and [100,000-seat arena](https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/century-arena-100k): public demos anyone can open, not customer deployments. - 15 September 2026 desktop benchmark on public 100,000-, 150,000- and 200,000-seat fixtures: 200,000 seats chart-ready in 1.95 s. Method and limits: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/renderer-performance/ - Concurrency, 18 September 2026: 10,000 simulated concurrent buyers on one 12,000-seat event in a local benchmark, hold latency p99 9 ms measured on the server, zero server errors, and 400,000 of 400,000 live seat updates delivered to 10,000 connected viewers. https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/concurrency-performance/ - Platform/SDK goes live for $0 with 100 free sold-seat credits per organization a month. Paid credits start at $0.10, need no subscription and never expire. ## Three navigation rungs 1. **Zones**: buyer-readable venue regions (lower bowl, upper deck, a named stand, or the venue's own zone model) establish direction first. 2. **Sections**: section name, availability and category stay readable before the buyer enters the rows. 3. **Seats**: labels, accessibility, category and live free/held/sold/blocked state become actionable at selection scale. Optional 3D adds orientation, not a second seat map: a known seat can be opened with a direct flight while the same selection and live status remain available in 2D. ## Authoring and inventory Decks, sections, rows and floors are authored once and published as one seating source. A whole deck can be held back for an event without maintaining a second chart, because event state is separate from venue geometry. The same published version serves every event in that room. ## Two ways to sell **Run the ticketing in SeatLayer:** website checkout, box office counter, refunds and door check-in on one live map, with payment through the organizer's own gateway. Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit and Flutterwave are all supported. $0.50 per confirmed ticket. **Add the seating to your own stack:** through the SDK and API, the venue's system keeps payment, orders, tickets, refunds and patron records, and SeatLayer holds and books the seats. ## Related venue types Theatres and auditoriums: https://seatlayer.io/performing-arts/ · Table-led comedy rooms: https://seatlayer.io/comedy-clubs/ · Counter and house control: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ # Theatre Ticketing Software with Reserved Seating: SeatLayer Canonical: https://seatlayer.io/performing-arts/ SeatLayer is theatre and performing arts ticketing software. Build the auditorium once, then sell every performance online, at the box office and at the door from one live seat map, with tickets, refunds and door check-in included. Buyers pick the exact seat in 2D or 3D and see the stage from it first. Community theatres, concert halls and opera houses run it as their ticketing; a venue that already has a ticketing system can add only the seat map to it through the SDK. ## Pricing and payments $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with 25 free for every new organization, no monthly fee and no percentage. Buyers pay into the theatre's own payment account; 14 payment gateways are supported, including Stripe, PayPal and Square. For a 300-seat theatre selling 5,000 tickets a year at $25 that is $2,488. Published per-ticket prices from other theatre systems for the same year, read 27 October 2026: TicketSpice $4,950, ThunderTix about $6,250 plus $250 to build the chart, Yapsody about $8,000, ShowTix4U about $9,400 and Ludus about $10,000 (the last two include card processing). ## The auditorium - Built by the theatre for free: start from one of 58 venue templates, describe the room to an AI, or click the printed seats on a floor plan PDF. Some theatre systems charge $0.55 a seat to build a chart. - Curved stalls, raked circles, boxes and wheelchair spaces in one editable plan; levels and rake are real height. - Every chart opens in 3D with the view from each seat, at no extra cost. - Wheelchair spaces, companion seats, hearing and sign-language provision, plus-size seats and restricted views are labelled on the seat, filterable for buyers and shown on the confirmation. ## Seasons A season is a plan of 2 to 20 performances in which each subscriber keeps the same seat. It sells through SeatLayer checkout on a season page, with box office sales, tickets for every date and refunds, or through the theatre's own checkout with the SDK. Renewal offers go out by email: an invitation and two reminders. Price tiers such as Adult, Child and Concession sit on the seat. ## The box office and the door Staff sell from the same live map as the website: best seats together, a type-in seat search, discount presets set by an admin, comps with a reason, seat changes, and 80 mm or A4 printing. The counter records how the theatre was paid and does not charge a card itself. A Box office role limits volunteers to the counter and the door. At the door, SeatLayer for iPhone keeps the night's door list on the phone, so it keeps scanning when the signal drops; a phone browser also works with a connection. ## Talk to us Theatres that want it on their own domain, in their own brand, or connected to their box office, CRM or website can ask SeatLayer to set it up with them. ## Boundary SeatLayer is not a patron CRM, membership, donor, fundraising, email-marketing or concessions system, and it does not sell online promo codes, donations or gift cards today. # Comedy Club Seating Software for Tables & Rows: SeatLayer SeatLayer gives table-led comedy rooms a reusable table-and-row chart, independent reserved-seat inventory for every show, and two separate sales routes: Hosted Ticketing or SDK/API integration. ## Released starting chart The released Comedy Club template starts with spaced cabaret tables around a compact stage plus rear reserved rows. Its 176 places describe that editable chart; it is not a capacity recommendation or platform limit. Open it in the [public Designer](https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/designer/comedy-club-l) or [buyer preview](https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/comedy-club-l). ## What the room model preserves - stage focus and buyer orientation; - table groups plus individual reserved-seat identity; - intentional aisles and service paths; - categories and price-zone context; - venue-authored accessibility and limited-view context. The venue remains responsible for measured geometry, local access, fire and occupancy rules, service clearances, and sightline validation. ## One room, independent shows The physical chart remains reusable. Each show event pins a published snapshot and keeps independent free, held, sold, and blocked seat state. ## Two ways to sell **Run the ticketing in SeatLayer:** buyers pick a seat or a place at a table on the club's own website and pay through its own gateway (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit or Flutterwave). The box office sells tables whole or by the chair from the same live map, and tickets are checked in at the door from a phone. $0.50 per confirmed ticket, 25 free to start. **Add the seating to your platform:** through the SDK and API, the host platform keeps payment, customers, orders, ticket delivery, refunds and scanning. SeatLayer is not currently performer-booking, lineup-scheduling, club CRM, membership, email-marketing, accounting, or complete food-and-beverage minimum-management software. Start blank or from a template, edit the geometry and labels, save named charts in the same browser, and export PNG, print-ready PDF or editable JSON without signing up. Full-precision editing needs a laptop or desktop. Editing requires JavaScript. Without it, the page still shows a real finished output and links to the template families so visitors can compare layouts before reopening the maker with JavaScript enabled. ## What the maker includes - Straight, curved and segmented rows; tables, booths, sections, shapes and general-admission areas. - Seat, row, table and section labels; categories, accessibility marks and multiple floors. - Classroom, wedding ceremony and reception, banquet, theatre, auditorium, arena and festival templates. Templates are editable layouts, not static pictures. - Clean PNG export, 300 DPI A4 or Letter PDF with one page per floor, and portable editable JSON. PNG and PDF omit editor controls, private reference layers and watermarks. - Same-browser saving on the current device. An account is required for cross-device cloud storage, team workflows, publishing and live event inventory. The maker does not import guest, attendee or student lists and does not automatically assign people to seats. Users can type names into labels, but assignment remains manual. ## AI and 3D The Designer can draft a chart from a written room description or photo, but AI output is an editable revision that a person reviews before publishing. The complete 2D map remains the baseline. Supported venue charts can also open in optional chart-derived 3D; 3D is not required and does not create a second inventory source. ## Production boundary The free maker is a design and download tool, not a booking, ticketing or checkout surface. Production events require reserved or assigned seating. A chart may contain a general-admission area, but pure-GA or chartless production events are not supported. After account and integration setup, the same published chart can power an embedded live buyer picker through the Platform/SDK path. The host keeps identity, checkout, payment, tax, orders, tickets, refunds and customer records; SeatLayer supplies venue geometry, live seat state, holds and server-confirmed booking transitions. Platform/SDK organizations receive 100 free SDK seat credits each month, and paid credits are consumed only when a place is first confirmed sold; purchased credits do not expire. To sell tickets from a chart, an organizer signs up and uses Hosted Ticketing: website checkout, box office and door check-in, paid through the organizer's own gateway (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit or Flutterwave). $0.50 per confirmed ticket, 25 free to start: https://seatlayer.io/sell-tickets-on-your-website/. The free maker itself does not sell tickets. ## Start points Start blank: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/designer?start=blank · Open templates: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/designer?start=templates · Template library: https://seatlayer.io/templates/ · Platform integration: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ WHY SEATLAYER # Why SeatLayer, and how it compares. SeatLayer gives a product team two buyer surfaces: the complete SeatPicker and the headless SeatingChart. Both connect to the same published venue, live inventory, holds and server-confirmed booking. Supported mobile packages, invited partner sales channels, Fixed Renewable Seasons, chart-derived 3D for every customer, and hosted ticketing with a box office counter, refunds and door check-in use that same seating model. ### Can SeatLayer fit an existing checkout? Yes. Your application can keep identity, cart, payment, tax, orders, refunds, tickets and customer records. SeatLayer supplies the venue geometry, buyer selection, live seat state, temporary hold and booking transition. Your trusted server verifies the hold and confirms the booking after payment. ### Can I use SeatLayer in a native mobile application? Yes. SeatLayer publishes supported packages for React Native, Flutter, Swift on iOS and Kotlin on Android. They expose typed app-facing APIs around a version-pinned buyer runtime, so the mobile application controls navigation, checkout and the surrounding interface while SeatLayer renders and synchronizes the seating surface. ### What does the public 200,000-seat proof demonstrate? It demonstrates the SeatLayer buyer renderer on public 100,000-, 150,000- and 200,000-seat venue fixtures under a disclosed desktop-browser method (15 September 2026; 200,000 seats chart-ready in 1.95 s at 57.6 FPS zoom), with the fixtures, run log and SHA-256 manifests published at github.com/seatlayer/seatlayer-performance, and a 200,000-seat stadium demo anyone can open. The page publishes the hardware, browser, interaction method, timings and limitations. It is not a hard venue ceiling, a mobile benchmark, an authoring benchmark or an end-to-end concurrent on-sale claim. ### Can a buyer use an AI assistant to find seats? Yes, when an integrator opts in to buyer WebMCP in a supported browser. The assistant can read the event, find candidates, select seats and read the selection; placing a temporary hold is a separate optional permission. There is no checkout or payment tool. This buyer workflow is separate from the SeatLayer MCP, which builds charts and runs events on one chart or a workspace the organiser approves, and from the public knowledge MCP. ### How much does SeatLayer cost? With the SDK, every organization gets 100 free sold seats a month, then $0.10 per sold seat, down to $0.05 on the largest pack, with no subscription; purchased credits never expire. Hosted ticketing on your own website is $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with the first 25 free and no percentage of the ticket price. The chart maker is free. ### Can SeatLayer sell tickets on my own website? Yes. Hosted ticketing puts the seat map and checkout on your own website, including WordPress with the free plugin. Buyers pay into your own Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack or iyzico account, and you get QR and PDF tickets, refunds, a box office counter and door check-in. Platform/SDK production starts at $0 with 100 free SDK sold-seat credits per organization each month; paid credits run from $0.10 down to $0.05, never expire and need no subscription. SeatLayer has around a 50% lower starting seat price than seats.io Silver; currencies, meters and plans differ. 3D and view from seat are included for every customer. The dated row-by-row feature comparison is at https://seatlayer.io/vs/seats-io/. Every comparison: https://seatlayer.io/why-seatlayer/ ## Why evaluate SeatLayer first - Every Platform/SDK organization receives 100 free SDK seat credits each month. After that, $50 buys 500 confirmed-sold-seat credits, or $0.10 each. Larger packs reduce the unit price to $0.05. There is no subscription or minimum commitment, and purchased credits never expire. - Stable web coverage includes JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue and Angular. Seven server SDK families cover Node, Python, PHP, Java, Go, Ruby and .NET, with a REST/OpenAPI path and production React Native, Flutter, Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android SDKs. - Hosted Ticketing sells seated events on the organizer's own website through the organizer's own payment gateway: checkout, orders, QR and PDF tickets, confirmation email, full or partial refunds, a box office counter and door check-in with the SeatLayer app for iPhone or a phone browser. $0.50 per confirmed ticket, 25 free tickets once at signup, no percentage of the ticket price. - The box office counter sells from the same live map buyers use online, suggests the best available seats, prints on 80 mm receipt paper or A4, and finds orders by name, email, phone, order number or ticket code. - Fixed Renewable Seasons are available to every organizer: 2–20-event plans, same-seat holds and booking, incumbent Seat Rights, renewal offers and reports. - Released sales channels: set exact seats aside for sponsors, agencies, members or the box office, invite each partner with its own login, set prices per audience, send private links, release unsold seats on a set date, and report per channel. Works with the SDK and with hosted ticketing. - Platforms can embed the Designer and the control panel in their own admin with the SDK. Organizers build charts there and watch sales, holds and blocked seats live; the host server decides each operator's tools. - Hosted Ticketing pays into the organizer's own account with one of 14 payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal and Square. SeatLayer is not the merchant of record. - 3D and view from seat are built from the same chart buyers pick from in 2D, with live selection and fly-to-seat navigation, for every customer. - Scale: public 100,000-, 150,000- and 200,000-seat fixtures benchmarked on 15 September 2026 (200,000 seats chart-ready in 1.95 s; desktop, local production build). One event handled 10,000 buyers at once with zero server errors and a 9 ms seat hold (p99). Method and fixtures: https://github.com/seatlayer/seatlayer-performance - SeatLayer venue documents are exportable. SDK mode keeps checkout, payments, orders, customers, tickets and refunds in the host product. - Custom enterprise agreements are available above 100,000 sold seats per month, with SSO/SAML, an SLA, integration support or custom venue design on request. Every account includes the data processing agreement. ## Current seats.io facts Official seats.io pages reviewed 5 September 2026 publish Silver at €450 per year for 2,500 used seats, equivalent to €0.18 each if the contracted capacity is fully used. A qualifying selection, API status change or channel assignment can make a seat used; each seat is billed at most once per event. Unused monthly capacity does not carry into the next month, and annual capacity does not carry beyond the contract year. seats.io is a seating layer: checkout, orders, tickets, box office and door tools come from the ticketing system you bring. Confirm current vendor terms before purchase. ## Migration Build the chart in the SeatLayer Designer: upload the floor plan as a PDF page or picture and click each block of printed seats, or start from a template or an SVG/DXF drawing. Then set labels, price levels and accessible seats, and publish. Orders, tickets, customers and payments are not transferred. Run the new venue in parallel and validate inventory, hold expiry, payment, idempotent booking, webhooks, tickets and door operations before cutover. The legacy chart-preview iframe is non-transactional. Use the web SDK for your checkout, or a hosted embed for an eligible Managed event with the organizer’s connected payment gateway. Hosted Ticketing uses a separate Hosted Ticket wallet. ## Pricing in plain terms At current SeatLayer rates, 1,000 purchased credits cost $90 and any unspent balance remains available. A seats.io Silver customer using 1,000 of its included 2,500 seats still pays the €450 annual commitment, and unused year-end capacity does not carry forward. Actual totals vary because currencies, taxes, negotiated terms and usage meters differ. ## Canonical SeatLayer proof paths - SDK and API coverage: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ - Pricing and enterprise terms: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ - Sales-channel documentation: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/sales-channels - Released 3D evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - Hosted operations: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ - Dated comparison: https://seatlayer.io/vs/seats-io/ - No-signup product demos: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/ # SeatLayer vs seats.io Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/vs/seats-io/ Reviewed: 22 September 2026. seats.io facts from its official pages, reviewed 18 September 2026. ## Direct decision seats.io is a seating layer: you bring the ticketing system. SeatLayer is the seating layer plus the ticketing behind it. Platforms embed the SDK and keep their own checkout; organizers sell seated events on their own website with their own payment gateway through Hosted Ticketing. SeatLayer Platform/SDK starts production at $0. Every organization receives 100 free confirmed sold-seat credits each month. Paid credits start at $50 for 500 ($0.10 each) and fall to $0.05 at volume; they never expire and there is no subscription. Hosted Ticketing is $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with 25 free tickets once at signup and no percentage of the ticket price. seats.io Silver is €450 prepaid annually for 2,500 used seats, with €0.18 per additional used seat. seats.io defines a used seat as selected, booked or assigned, so abandoned selections count. SeatLayer bills only confirmed sold seats, and its starting seat price is around 50% lower. Source: https://www.seats.io/pricing Cost scenarios: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/#compare-costs ## Where SeatLayer leads - Complete ticketing on the same engine: hosted checkout on the organizer's own website, orders, QR and PDF tickets, confirmation email, refunds, box office and door check-in. With seats.io these come from the ticketing system you bring. - Box office: the counter sells from the same live map buyers use online, suggests the best available seats, prints on 80 mm receipt paper or A4, and finds any order by name, email, phone, order number or ticket code. - Refunds: full or partial, through the organizer's own gateway. Refund or cancel any order from the dashboard. - Door check-in runs in the SeatLayer app for iPhone, or in a phone browser. - 3D and view from seat are included for every customer, built from the same chart buyers pick from in 2D, with no extra sold-seat credit for opening 3D. - Seasons: Fixed Renewable Seasons are available to every organizer, with 2–20-event plans, same-seat rights, renewal offers and reports. - Performance Groups are available to every organizer: one purchase across 2–8 compatible performances. https://docs.seatlayer.io/integrations/performance-groups/ - Scale: public 100,000-, 150,000- and 200,000-seat fixtures benchmarked on 15 September 2026. 200,000 seats were chart-ready in 1.95 s, with 57.6 FPS while zooming and 60.0 FPS while panning (desktop, local production build). Fixtures, method and run logs: https://github.com/seatlayer/seatlayer-performance. Open the 200,000-seat stadium demo: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/century-stadium-200k - SDKs: React, Vue, Angular and vanilla JavaScript, seven server SDK families (Node, Python, PHP, Java, Go, Ruby, .NET), REST/OpenAPI, and production React Native, Flutter, Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android SDKs around a shared WebView renderer. - Agents: the authorized SeatLayer MCP builds charts for review and, with the person's consent, runs events; live changes wait for their yes. Opt-in buyer WebMCP lets compatible in-browser assistants find, select and optionally hold seats; it has no payment tool. - Moving: build the chart in the SeatLayer Designer from your floor plan (one click per block of printed seats) or a template, then run both side by side before cutover. Orders, tickets, customers and payments are not transferred. ## Operating notes SDK mode keeps checkout, payment, orders, tickets, refunds and customers in the host product. Hosted Ticketing uses the organizer's own payment gateway and a separate Hosted Ticket wallet. A legacy chart-preview iframe is non-transactional. SeatLayer is an alternative to seatmap.pro for teams that want reserved-seating infrastructure inside their booking product, or who want SeatLayer to run the ticket sale. Growth is €2,000 for 10,000, Pro €5,000 for 50,000, and Scale €10,000 for 110,000. Unused Cloud capacity does not roll into the next contract year. Current official pages also document a framework-agnostic TypeScript Booking Renderer, Booking API v2, WebSockets, webhooks and a Visual Editor. seatmap.pro's home page, read 22 September 2026, says your existing platform keeps orders, payments and customer data. These facts describe verified capabilities and contract boundaries, not undocumented absences. Current vendor terms should be confirmed before purchase. ## Migration boundary SeatLayer does not claim automatic seatmap.pro account, chart, event, or order import. A safe migration rebuilds and reviews one venue, runs it in parallel, selects either a stable SeatLayer web SDK or the separate hosted path, and validates hold expiry, payment, idempotent booking, webhooks, tickets, and door operations before cutover. The legacy chart-preview iframe is non-transactional. Use the web SDK for your checkout, or a hosted embed for an eligible Managed event with the organizer’s connected payment gateway. Hosted Ticketing uses a separate Hosted Ticket wallet. ## Pricing in plain terms At current SeatLayer rates, 1,000 purchased credits cost $90 and any unspent balance remains available. seatmap.pro Starter is €400 per year for up to 2,500 confirmed sales, and unused annual capacity does not carry forward. This compares contract shape: currencies, taxes, feature tiers and commercial terms differ. ## Canonical SeatLayer proof paths - SDK and API coverage: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ - Pricing and enterprise terms: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ - Sales-channel documentation: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/sales-channels - Released 3D evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - Hosted operations: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ - No-signup product demos: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/ # Eventbrite alternative for reserved seating: SeatLayer Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/eventbrite-alternative/ SeatLayer is an Eventbrite alternative for seated events. Organizers sell on their own website through their own payment gateway at a flat $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with no percentage of the ticket price. Platforms embed the same seat picker with SDKs and keep their own checkout. ## Why evaluate SeatLayer first - Hosted Ticketing: $0.50 per confirmed ticket, 25 free tickets once at signup, no percentage, no subscription. Hosted checkout on the organizer's website, QR and PDF tickets, confirmation email. - A box office counter that sells from the same live map buyers use online, suggests the best available seats, prints on 80 mm receipt paper or A4, and finds orders by name, email, phone, order number or ticket code. - Full or partial refunds through the organizer's gateway. - Door check-in with our own scan app, SeatLayer for iPhone, which keeps scanning when the signal drops, or in a phone browser. - Seasons with same-seat renewals, live for every organizer. - 3D and view from seat included for every customer, built from the same chart as the 2D picker. - For platforms: every Platform/SDK organization receives 100 free SDK seat credits each month, then $0.10 down to $0.05 per confirmed sold seat; purchased credits never expire. Stable JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue and Angular SDKs, seven server SDK families, REST/OpenAPI and production React Native, Flutter, iOS/Swift and Android/Kotlin SDKs. - Released sales channels support versioned inventory assignment, scoped buyer access, live enforcement, reporting, and booking-webhook attribution. - Custom enterprise agreements are available above 100,000 sold seats per month. ## Fees in practice On a $50 ticket, Eventbrite's US organizer page lists a service fee of 3.7% + $1.79 ($3.64) plus 2.9% payment processing. SeatLayer charges $0.50 per confirmed ticket with no percentage. Across 5,000 tickets that is $18,200 in Eventbrite service fees against $2,500 with SeatLayer. Card processing is extra in both cases; with SeatLayer the organizer's own gateway charges its usual rate. ## What organizers get - A free chart maker with 58 free venue templates and AI chart building from a description (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or your own agent over MCP) or a floor plan. - Reserved seating for recurring events: each date has its own live seats. - Checkout on the organizer's own website (including WordPress, with the free plugin), paid into the organizer's own account with one of 14 payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal and Square. - QR and PDF tickets, refunds of a whole order or one ticket, a box office counter on the same live map, and door check-in with the SeatLayer app for iPhone or a phone browser. - 3D and view from seat on every plan; sales channels for partners with their own login. ## Current Eventbrite facts Official Eventbrite pages reviewed 5 September 2026 document reserved seating, including a Venue Designer, sections, rows, tables, tiers, map objects, best-available allocation, and buyer pick-your-own-seat selection. Eventbrite's current US organizer pricing page lists a 3.7% + $1.79 service fee per paid ticket and 2.9% payment processing per order. Region, currency, account, organizer absorption, taxes, and negotiated terms can differ. ## Operating notes On the hosted path, the organizer's connected provider controls processing fees, applicable taxes, and payout timing; SeatLayer bills Hosted Ticket usage separately. Buyers reach events through the organizer's own website. SeatLayer does not present a documented direct Eventbrite checkout plug-in. The legacy hosted chart iframe is a preview; transactional embedded selection uses the SDK buyer picker, and a hosted event embed opens SeatLayer checkout for an eligible Hosted Ticketing event. ## Migration SeatLayer does not claim automatic import of Eventbrite accounts, events, attendees, orders, tickets, or refunds. Recreate and review venue geometry, choose hosted ticketing or an owned SDK flow, and validate live inventory, hold expiry, payment, ticket issue, refunds and door operations before cutover. ## Canonical SeatLayer proof paths - Hosted website selling: https://seatlayer.io/sell-tickets-on-your-website/ - Box office: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ - Pricing and enterprise terms: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ - SDK and API coverage: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ - Released 3D evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - Eventbrite reserved-seating explainer: https://seatlayer.io/eventbrite-seating-chart/ - All comparisons: https://seatlayer.io/why-seatlayer/ - No-signup product demos: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/ # Eventbrite reserved seating and seating charts Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/eventbrite-seating-chart/ Yes. Eventbrite has native reserved seating and a venue-map builder. Current official pages reviewed 5 September 2026 document sections, rows, individual seats, tables, aisles, accessible seating, general-admission areas, ticket tiers, holds, interactive buyer seat choice, automatic best available, assigned tickets, post-sale management, and Organizer-app check-in. The commercial Eventbrite-versus-SeatLayer comparison belongs at https://seatlayer.io/eventbrite-alternative/. ## Current Eventbrite setup 1. Enable reserved seating while building an event page for a physical venue. 2. Open Tickets and create a venue map from a preset, blank canvas, or a prior map for the same venue. 3. Add sections or tables, assign every seat to a ticket tier, set best-available selling order, and optionally add holds with access codes. 4. Create ticket types, choose the tiers they can sell, review checkout settings, and publish the event. The current feature and help pages document mixed reserved and general-admission areas, buyer pick-your-own-seat selection, automatic allocation, reusable maps, assigned QR tickets, sold/held/available inventory views, manual attendees, and eligible post-sale seat/order changes. ## Explicit Eventbrite constraints - Reserved seating cannot be enabled for a recurring event, after tickets already exist, or when the event uses a waitlist. - Venue maps cannot be created or edited on mobile. - Online paid reserved tickets require Eventbrite Payment Processing. - Donation tickets are unavailable for reserved-seating events. - The management guide separately documents a manual paid-attendee workflow where the organizer collects funds outside Eventbrite and records the attendee; that payment does not affect Eventbrite payout or fees. These are sourced workflow constraints, not a deficiency score. No seat-count ceiling, missing-API claim, unsupported layout limit, or performance claim is made. ## Fees on a reserved seat Eventbrite's US organizer page lists a service fee of 3.7% + $1.79 per paid ticket, plus 2.9% payment processing per order. On a $50 ticket that is $3.64 in service fee and $1.45 in processing. Regional and negotiated terms differ. SeatLayer Hosted Ticketing charges $0.50 per confirmed ticket, with no percentage of the ticket price and the first 25 tickets free. Buyers pay through the organizer's own payment gateway, which charges its usual card fee, and the money goes straight to the organizer's account. ## Selling reserved seats on your own website With SeatLayer Hosted Ticketing the seat map and checkout sit on the organizer's own website (including WordPress, with the free plugin): QR and PDF tickets, refunds of a whole order or one ticket, a box office counter on the same live map, and door check-in with our own scan app, SeatLayer for iPhone, or in a phone browser. The chart maker is free, with 58 free venue templates and AI chart building from a floor plan or photo. Each date of a recurring event has its own live seats. ## When SeatLayer fits instead Evaluate SeatLayer when transactional seat selection should live inside a booking product and checkout the customer controls: - stable JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, and Angular SDKs; - seven server SDK families covering Node, Python, PHP, Java, Go, Ruby, and .NET; - REST/OpenAPI, live inventory, holds, booking, and signed webhooks; - released sales channels with scoped buyer access, live enforcement, reporting, and booking-webhook attribution; - complete 2D buyer selection plus optional chart-derived interactive 3D; - open chart export and custom enterprise terms; - 100 free Platform/SDK credits every month, then prepaid credits from 10 cents down to 5 cents per confirmed sold seat, with no subscription and purchased credits that never expire. In SeatLayer SDK mode, the host owns checkout, payment, orders, customers, tickets, and refunds. With Hosted Ticketing, SeatLayer runs the event page, checkout, box office, tickets and door check-in through the organizer's own gateway: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit and Flutterwave. SeatLayer is not a direct Eventbrite checkout plug-in. It does not claim automatic Eventbrite chart, account, event, order, attendee, ticket, or refund migration. ## Canonical SeatLayer paths - SDK and API coverage: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ - For ticketing platforms: https://seatlayer.io/ticketing-platforms/ - Pricing and enterprise terms: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ - Sales-channel documentation: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/sales-channels - Released 3D evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - Hosted operations: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ - Eventbrite commercial alternative: https://seatlayer.io/eventbrite-alternative/ - Live product demos: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/ # SeatLayer vs Social Tables (Cvent) Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/vs/social-tables/ Reviewed: 12 Oct 2026 SeatLayer sells live, purchasable seats to public buyers: inside your product with SDKs, or on your own website with Hosted Ticketing. Cvent Event Diagramming, formerly Social Tables, is event-planning software for arranging known attendees. ## Direct answer Choose SeatLayer when public buyers must select live purchasable seats inside your product or on your own website. SeatLayer holds and books the exact seat, runs a box office counter on the same live map, issues full or partial refunds, and checks tickets in the browser at the door. The products can coexist for internal planning and public seat sales. ## Where SeatLayer leads - Stable web SDKs: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, and Angular. - Seven server SDK families, REST/OpenAPI, signed webhooks, and real-time event inventory. - Production mobile SDKs cover React Native, Flutter, iOS/Swift, and Android/Kotlin. - Live free, held, sold, and blocked seat state across buyer and operator surfaces. - Buyer 3D included for every customer, plus a complete transactional 2D picker. - Hosted Ticketing sells on the organizer's own website through the organizer's own payment gateway: $0.50 per confirmed ticket, 25 free tickets once at signup, no percentage. - A box office counter sells from the same live map, suggests the best available seats, prints on 80 mm receipt paper or A4, and finds orders by name, email, phone, order number or ticket code. - Full or partial refunds through the organizer's gateway. - Door check-in runs in our own scan app, SeatLayer for iPhone, which keeps scanning when the signal drops, or in a phone browser; Seasons with same-seat renewals are live for every organizer. - Every Platform/SDK organization receives 100 free SDK seat credits each month; after that, $50 buys 500 confirmed-sold-seat credits at $0.10 each. - No subscription or minimum commitment. Purchased credits never expire; larger packs reach $0.05. ## Social Tables facts verified from official pages - Collaborative to-scale room diagramming, known-attendee seating, meals, reporting, and photorealistic 3D. - Enterprise plans document Cvent Registration integration. Cvent's release notes describe a two-way sync between Event Registration and Event Diagramming, generally available to Event Diagramming Enterprise users since 4 June 2025; OnArrival check-in and badge printing can show the synced seating. - Planner pricing reviewed 12 Oct 2026: Free; Standard $49/month; Pro $150/month; Premium $320/month; Enterprise custom. - All paid plans carry a 12-month commitment and plan limits vary. - The reviewed public pages do not present Event Diagramming itself as an external transactional seat-picker SDK or as public buyers selecting live purchasable seat inventory. Pricing units are not interchangeable: Social Tables licenses planning software, while SeatLayer meters a specialist transactional seating layer. SeatLayer does not claim automatic Social Tables import. ## Using both Planners can keep layouts and guest lists in Social Tables while buyers book from a SeatLayer seat map. In SeatLayer, tables sell whole or seat by seat, and event templates such as Gala Dinner (360 seats), Cabaret (300 seats) and Nightclub (156 tables and a standing floor) are free to edit. Hosted Ticketing puts checkout on the organizer's own website at $0.50 per confirmed ticket, paid into the organizer's own account with one of 14 payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal and Square, with QR and PDF tickets, refunds, a box office counter and door check-in. ## SeatLayer evidence - SDK and API coverage: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ - Pricing and enterprise terms: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ - Public GitHub: https://github.com/seatlayer - Web SDK source: https://github.com/seatlayer/seatlayer-sdk - Quickstart: https://docs.seatlayer.io/start/quickstart/ - OpenAPI: https://docs.seatlayer.io/openapi.json - Sales channels: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/sales-channels - 3D product evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - Live product demos: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/ - All comparisons: https://seatlayer.io/why-seatlayer/ # What is 3D ticketing? 3D seat selection explained Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/3d-ticketing/ **3D ticketing is selling event tickets through an interactive 3D view of the venue, where the buyer orbits the room, previews the view from a seat, and picks the seat they will actually sit in.** It is not a separate product from the seat map: with SeatLayer the same published seating chart draws the 2D map, builds the 3D venue and resolves the view from each seat, so the seat chosen in 3D is the seat that enters the hold, the cart and the booking record. ## How it works in practice 1. The buyer starts on the complete 2D map and enters the 3D venue through a built-in Map/3D switch, when the device and chart allow it. 2. Height, rake, levels and orientation come from the published chart, so the buyer can orbit and compare sections spatially. 3. A locator drills Section → Row → Seat, frames each level and highlights the exact seat, so nobody hunts for one dot in a full bowl. 4. A clearly labelled 360° view opens from that position, and selecting the seat creates the same hold as selecting it in 2D. Seats carry real state, such as free, held, sold or blocked, and that state changes underneath the buyer while 3D is open. Selection and availability stay synchronized between the 2D map and the 3D scene. Accessible, table, booth, section, zone, label and floor information stays consistent across both views. ## Virtual venue tour vs 3D seat map A virtual venue tour shows the space; a 3D seat map sells the seat. A tour is a presentation asset and usually ends where the transaction begins. A 3D seat map carries live inventory and creates a hold. If the buyer cannot pick a seat inside it, it is a tour. ## What it requires - **A published seating chart.** Rows, rake, levels, sections and orientation are what the 3D scene is built from, so there is no separate 3D modeling project. In the current reviewed catalog, 35 of 51 templates carry released relief; 16 physically flat rooms remain flat by design. - **A browser with WebGL2.** No headset, app or plugin. 3D is shown only where WebGL2 is supported, lazy-loaded only when a buyer enters it, and always paired with the standard 2D map. Enabling it is `enable3D: true` with `seatView: true` on the picker. - **Optionally, authored 360° imagery.** Every seat already has a live 3D view; organizer-authored photos and panoramas take precedence and can be added progressively. ## Cost Optional 3D uses the same published chart, loads only when opened, and does not consume another sold-seat credit. Every Platform/SDK organization receives 100 free SDK seat credits each month; after that, $50 buys 500 confirmed-sold-seat credits at $0.10 each, whichever view the buyer used. Designing charts and running in test mode are free with no time limit. ## View-from-seat source order 1. a seat- or row-level organizer-authored image; 2. a floor-level fallback; 3. a venue-wide fallback; or 4. otherwise, the live 3D view from the seat, built from the chart. ## Claim boundaries The live 3D view is not photography, an exact architectural twin, or a venue-certified restricted-view assessment. SeatLayer publishes no universal device, frame-rate, bundle-size, load-time, conversion, revenue or satisfaction claim for 3D, does not claim 3D is universally better than a 2D map, and does not claim that competitors lack 3D or view-from-seat. Pointer and touch buyers can orbit the scene; keyboard users retain the map, navigation and guided controls, but the orbit canvas itself is not claimed to be keyboard-equivalent. Reduced-motion preferences keep the decision path while limiting camera motion. ## Canonical SeatLayer proof paths - Released 3D evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - View-from-seat source model: https://seatlayer.io/view-from-seat/ - Bespoke venue-twin comparison: https://seatlayer.io/vs/3d-digital-venue/ - 3D SDK guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/3d-view/ - Step-by-step tutorial: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/add-3d-seat-view/ - No-signup 3D demo: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/grand-theatre?tour=3d - Pricing: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ # SeatLayer vs 3D Digital Venue: 3D seat views compared Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/vs/3d-digital-venue/ Both products put a 3D venue in front of a ticket buyer. The difference is where the 3D comes from. SeatLayer's 3D venue and view-from-seat are derived from the same published seating chart that runs 2D selection, live seat state, holds and server-confirmed booking. 3D Digital Venue builds purpose-made venue twins and integrates them with a ticketing system that owns the inventory. ## Why evaluate SeatLayer first - One published chart drives the complete 2D Map, the interactive 3D venue and the view from a seat. Authoring the venue once produces both views; there is no second model to commission or keep in sync. - Selection and availability stay synchronized between Map and 3D through the same controller path, so a seat picked while orbiting the venue is the seat that enters the hold, the cart and the signed booking webhook. - 3D is included for every customer. It uses the same published chart, loads only when opened, and does not consume another sold-seat credit. Every Platform/SDK organization receives 100 free SDK seat credits each month; after that, $50 buys 500 confirmed-sold-seat credits at $0.10 each, falling to $0.05, with no subscription and credits that never expire. - Enabling it is one SDK flag: `enable3D: true` with `seatView: true` on the picker, then `setBuyerView("venue3d", { flyToSeatId })` to focus a seat. - The complete 2D Map remains the full selection and checkout path when 3D is disabled, unsupported, withheld for a constrained context, or fails. - Current reviewed catalog: 35 of 51 templates carry released relief; 16 physically flat rooms remain flat by design. - The same chart that draws the 3D venue also sells: - Hosted Ticketing sells on the organizer's own website through the organizer's own payment gateway: $0.50 per confirmed ticket, 25 free tickets once at signup, no percentage. - A box office counter sells from the same live map, suggests the best available seats, prints on 80 mm receipt paper or A4, and finds orders by name, email, phone, order number or ticket code. - Full or partial refunds through the organizer's gateway. - Door check-in runs in the SeatLayer app for iPhone, or in a phone browser; Seasons with same-seat renewals are live for every organizer. ## Current 3D Digital Venue facts 3D Digital Venue's own public pages, reviewed 25 October 2026, describe a Barcelona team that builds "precise venue twins" and turns a venue into "a digital twin that sells". Its published Solutions Suite covers venue mapping: 2D Map Selection, 3D Map Selection, 3D Seat View Visualization and VIP Hospitality Visualization. Delivery uses the proprietary DVM (Digital Venue Maps) API, which integrates 3D Digital Venue with the ticketing system and displays inventory availability. 3DDV does not publish pricing on the pages reviewed; the call to action is "Request a Demo". No price is stated on SeatLayer's behalf of theirs. ## Claim boundaries SeatLayer publishes no universal device, frame-rate, bundle-size, load-time, conversion, revenue, refund or satisfaction claim for 3D, and does not claim that 3D Digital Venue lacks anything its public pages do not discuss. Geometry-generated previews are labelled as generated and are not photography, an exact architectural twin, or a certified restricted-view assessment. Pointer and touch buyers can orbit the scene; keyboard users retain the Map, navigation and guided controls, but the orbit canvas itself is not claimed to be keyboard-equivalent. ## Canonical SeatLayer proof paths - Released 3D evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - What 3D ticketing means: https://seatlayer.io/3d-ticketing/ - View-from-seat source model: https://seatlayer.io/view-from-seat/ - 3D SDK guide: https://docs.seatlayer.io/buyer-sdk/3d-view/ - No-signup 3D demo: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/play/grand-theatre?tour=3d - Pricing and enterprise terms: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ - All comparisons: https://seatlayer.io/why-seatlayer/ # SeatLayer vs Seatics: interactive seat map providers compared Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/vs/seatics/ Both put an interactive seat map in front of a buyer, on opposite sides of the inventory line. Seatics licenses a map layer that renders listings arriving from external inventory sources. SeatLayer is the system of record for seat availability: a reusable published venue chart with per-event seat state, holds and server-confirmed booking. ## Why evaluate SeatLayer first - SeatLayer owns the seat state: per-event free, held, sold and blocked seats, holds with expiry, best-available allocation, concurrency control, idempotent server-confirmed booking and signed webhooks. - Platform/SDK pricing is published: every organization receives 100 free SDK seat credits each month, then $50 buys 500 confirmed-sold-seat credits at $0.10 each, falling to $0.05 at volume, with no subscription, no minimum commitment and credits that never expire. Designing charts and running in test mode are free with no time limit. - Self-serve: sign up, design a venue, test free, buy credits when seats sell. No sales call is required to see a price or start building. - Stable web coverage (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular), seven server SDK families and REST/OpenAPI, so the map lives inside a checkout the customer operates. - One reusable published chart drives many dated events plus box-office, door and sales-channel surfaces on the same inventory truth. - 3D included for every customer, derived from the same chart, with orbit and fly-to-seat navigation, and a view from the seat resolved as authored seat/row image, floor fallback, venue fallback, then a labelled geometry-generated preview. - Door check-in runs in the SeatLayer app for iPhone, or in a phone browser; Seasons with same-seat renewals are live for every organizer. - Scale: on 15 September 2026 a public 200,000-seat stadium was chart-ready in 1.95 s, and one event handled 10,000 buyers at once with zero server errors and a 9 ms seat hold (p99). - Mobile SDKs for iOS, Android, Flutter and React Native; platforms can embed the Designer and a live control panel in their own admin; sales channels give partners their own login and reports. - Building a venue: a free chart maker, 58 free templates and AI chart building from a floor plan or photo. - Hosted Ticketing pays into the organizer's own account with one of 14 payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal and Square: checkout on the organizer's website, QR and PDF tickets, refunds, a box office counter and door check-in with the SeatLayer app for iPhone or a phone browser, at $0.50 per confirmed ticket. ## Current Seatics facts Seatics' own public pages, reviewed 25 October 2026, describe the Seatics Maps API as "a fully-responsive, licensable interactive maps solution for clients who want maximum control of the UI design", and state that "section highlighting, approximate seat views, and seller notes provide the buyer with confidence in their purchase decision". It offers "thousands of approximate view-from-section images for most major sporting events, as well as some additional venues/theaters", and either a pre-built UI "with numerous configuration options" or "a completely customized UI to fit your needs". Its site states that Seatics Maps "supports any and all inventory sources/feeds, and allows for the combining of multiple inventory sources at the same time". Seatics does not publish rates on the pages reviewed. Its comparison section contrasts "Straightforward Pricing" with competitors' "Upfront Costs" and mentions "Free Installation" for ATBS and Ticket Platform clients, but a figure requires an email to Seatics. No Seatics price is stated on this page. The pages reviewed publish no self-serve signup or trial, and do not describe holds or concurrency; that is a description of what those pages contain, not an assertion that a capability is absent. ## Migration boundary SeatLayer does not claim an importer for Seatics maps, configurations or inventory feeds. The venue is authored or reviewed in SeatLayer, and because a listings map carries no hold or booking model, categories, prices, blocked seats, channel access and booking rules are defined in SeatLayer regardless of how the drawing originated. ## Canonical SeatLayer proof paths - SDK and API coverage: https://seatlayer.io/developers/ - Pricing and enterprise terms: https://seatlayer.io/pricing/ - Sales-channel documentation: https://docs.seatlayer.io/platform/sales-channels - Released 3D evidence: https://seatlayer.io/3d-seat-map/ - View-from-seat source model: https://seatlayer.io/view-from-seat/ - Hosted operations: https://seatlayer.io/box-office/ - No-signup product demos: https://app.seatlayer.io/demo/ - All comparisons: https://seatlayer.io/why-seatlayer/ # SeatLayer vs Ticket Tailor: reserved seating compared Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/vs/ticket-tailor/ Both sell seated tickets on the organizer's own website with money paid to the organizer's own account. SeatLayer builds its own seat map engine and adds more around it. Facts read from Ticket Tailor's own help centre and developer pages on 25 September 2026. ## Where SeatLayer leads - Payment gateways: 14 (Stripe, PayPal, Square, Braintree, Authorize.Net, Checkout.com, Mollie, Razorpay, Tap, Mercado Pago, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paystack, iyzico). Ticket Tailor lists 3: Stripe, PayPal and Square. - 3D: every SeatLayer chart opens in 3D on every plan, with a view from each seat. We found no 3D seat map on Ticket Tailor's pages. - Chart from a floor plan: upload the plan and click it; one click adds a block of printed seats or a whole section. Ticket Tailor documents tracing a floor plan by hand. - Your own product: the same account and chart can power a seat SDK (web, iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native) with your own checkout. We found no seat SDK on Ticket Tailor's pages. - Scale: a public 200,000-seat stadium demo anyone can open. - Price: SeatLayer $0.50 per confirmed ticket, seated or not, first 25 free. Ticket Tailor charges $0.85 a ticket and a seated ticket uses 2 credits, so $1.70. On 5,000 seated tickets: $2,500 against $8,500. Gateway fees are separate on both. # SeatLayer vs TicketSpice: reserved seating compared Canonical URL: https://seatlayer.io/vs/ticketspice/ Both sell reserved seats with a box office and QR scanning. Facts read from TicketSpice's own pricing page and help centre on 25 September 2026. ## Where SeatLayer leads - Ticket fee: SeatLayer $0.50 per confirmed ticket. TicketSpice 99¢ per ticket (49¢ under $5) plus 2.9% + 30¢ processing. On 5,000 tickets: $2,500 against $4,950 in ticket fees. - Payment gateways: 14 worldwide, PayPal among them, plus regional gateways for India, the Gulf, Latin America, South-East Asia, Africa, Europe and Turkey. TicketSpice lists 11 US card processors and no PayPal. - 3D: every SeatLayer chart opens in 3D on every plan, with a view from each seat. We found no 3D seat map on TicketSpice's pages. - Chart from a floor plan: upload the plan and click it; one click adds a block of printed seats or a whole section. - Your own product: the same account and chart can power a seat SDK with your own checkout. TicketSpice's REST API is mostly read-only and available on request. - Door: SeatLayer has its own scan app too, SeatLayer for iPhone, which keeps scanning when the signal drops; staff can also scan in a phone browser. - Scale: a public 200,000-seat stadium demo anyone can open.
